  1. Police were more of a middleman between a taxi driver and Spanish tourists. In reality the Thai Police are as corrupt and useless as any Thai or expat will attest to. Universally detested throughout the country. (Waiting for some misguided expat to extoll on the virtues of the RTP).
  2. Complete nonsense. The sickening thing is you actually believe the bu***it you're writing. Utterly clueless!
  3. Hopefully this enlightens you. "WEAKNESS IS LETHAL: WHY PUTIN INVADED UKRAINE AND HOW THE WAR MUST END" Oct 1, 2023 - ISW Press https://www.understandingwar.org/backgrounder/weakness-lethal-why-putin-invaded-ukraine-and-how-war-must-end
  4. Another pro Russian vlogger. Clueless.
  5. Definitely blame the Russian's for invading a sovereign nation. Imagine if these ruthless tyrants succeed, they'll be using not only oil but food as a weapon!
  6. That article is mouthful of nothingness. With guidance like this it's no wonder the Thai economy is struggling.
  7. Extremely well made and perfect fit. Perhaps advertising for one of the fine Indian Tailor shops that dot every Soi in Pattaya.
  8. Perhaps they could invite Syria, N. Korea, and Myanmar also?
  9. For certain this trip is being paid by the taxpayer. Most Thai's enjoy travel as long as they don't have to pay for it, especially government officials. Perk of being totally corrupt and soulless.
  10. Probably for the same reason there were no negotians before Russia invaded Crimea in 2014. Much easier not to telegraph that you're going to invade a particular country.

Probably have a proper toilet and flat screen tv, can't blame you. Nice of him to offer though.
  12. Full pensions, full insurance, and as you mentioned they've likely got millions of ill gotten money stashed away. It pays to be a government employee in Thailand!

Couldn't you just meditate at a nice resort on the beach? .... Or are you just looking for free accomodation.
  14. Simply legalize gambling. Put some nice casino's in Issan. It'll give tourist a reason to visit.
  15. Immigration and all it entails sucks.
  16. I like those steamed peanuts. Anyway's, enjoy your weekend! Tons of rain in our area of Sakon Nakhon.
  17. Definitely don't want Russia taking control of the "breadbasket" of Europe. Try to wrap your head around that and not persuaded by idiot Right Wing nutcases.
  18. I can't imagine a Thai cop bothering to do anything (regarding enforcement) physical after the sun sets if it doesn't include a bribe.
  19. Crazy! We've grown up to 3 crops. I live in the North East. If you've got access to water and the right seeds you will be able to grow more than one crop. They certainly do it in the North East. Perhaps your confused between watermelon crops and/or sugarcane and rice? Anyways, no arguments. It would be interesting why they don't in your area. Perhaps they don't have retention ponds?
  20. Nonsense. Thais can and do plant up to three crops a year, we do. First crop covers fertalizer, seed, fuel, etc. Second and third harvests will hopefully be profitable. Poor water management and lack of maintenance of water storage/delivery is the culprit. Thais will continue to plant there rice, sugarcane, etc., whether it fails or not because they'll recieve a subsidy of 500-1000 baht a Rai for failed crops. "Thailand can harvest three rice crops a year" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rice_production_in_Thailand#:~:text=Thailand can harvest three rice,of water per cultivated rai. Sounds like you could use a refresher course in Thai agriculture. "The Fragrant History of Thai Rice" https://thaiginger.com/the-fragrant-history-of-thai-rice/#:~:text=A Cultural Staple in Asia,is ideal for growing rice.
  21. Mines about 500 in Sakon Nakhon.
