100% as long as the will is properly drawn up with signature and witnesses. Wills do not have to be registered anywhere.

wills do not need to be registered at an amphur (or anywhere else).

Valid wills in Thailand do not have to be registered at an amphur. Probate determines access to the deceased assets, not someone walking into a bank and requesting access to an account, amphur registered or not.

Wills in Thailand are valid written in English or Thai (or any other language), they just have to be translated into Thai for probate, etc.

Did you remember to register it at the Amphur? It doesn't have to be.

Embassies do what they are obligated to do, they advise the family in the home country of the death and if they then need any advice, they provide it. Embassies are not there to arrange funerals.

Death is so much more simple when you have no money and no family who cares about you! :)

He doesn't have to accept any visitors, at any time, neither do any other inmates, either in hospital or prison - seeing visitors is the patient's/inmate's choice. -

No, it is not, it is his right to decide whether visitors are allowed to see him or whether he accepts visitors, either in hospital or prison.
