Illegal to change lanes on a bridge?
Seems you know and do better than all these locals who pay on the spot then, or you just like to pay more than is needed? Lol. Yes under a rock for sure, you lived here almost as long as I am alive and seem to be completely unaware or ignorant about it. Seems that I do know how to avoid them, yes, yet you seem to be sneering at that. Very strange attitude. By the way, even if I was "paying more" (I'm not) that would not be avoiding those "fines", it would be paying them! Nothing that I have posted suggests that I am "completely unaware or ignorant about" the tradition, if I were, I wouldn't be able to recount my experiences, would I?.

Illegal to change lanes on a bridge?
You must live under a rock then, they are everywhere daily doing that, mainly to milk locals for 100-200 baht. Because I have been able to avoid having to pay any illicit "fines" means that I "must be living under a rock"? Thank you for that premium example of bizarre logic.

Illegal to change lanes on a bridge?
Obviously you don't. Obviously, you do not recognise the difference between a legitimate traffic fine that I have paid and a "fine"- note the inverted commas in my comments, they have a meaning.

Illegal to change lanes on a bridge?
I was writing for readers in general. Remember, it's not all about you.... So why did you address it specifically to me by commenting on my post that you quoted?

Tourist Van Accident in Prachuap Khiri Khan: 8 Injured, 1 Dead
Why, with no evidence at all to do so, are so many here immediately blaming the driver?
-
Tourist Van Accident in Prachuap Khiri Khan: 8 Injured, 1 Dead
90 kms/hour...... At what speed was the van travelling?
-
Tourist Van Accident in Prachuap Khiri Khan: 8 Injured, 1 Dead
Really? Evidence for that? How many van tyres have you checked so closely?
-
Tourist Van Accident in Prachuap Khiri Khan: 8 Injured, 1 Dead
Yes, very likely that he was so tired that a tyre burst.
-
Tourist Van Accident in Prachuap Khiri Khan: 8 Injured, 1 Dead
Where was it reported that he hadn't checked his tyres? Where was it reported that he wasn't driving at a safe speed? Where was it reported that he wasn't prepared to take avoiding/defensive action at any time?
-
Tourist Van Accident in Prachuap Khiri Khan: 8 Injured, 1 Dead
And what would be the normal reaction to a burst tyre, particularly if there are a lot of passengers to take care of? Most people would want to stop the vehicle, wouldn't they? And, on a busy road there may not be the option to not have to slow the vehicle down.

Thai man reverses amicable divorce after catching wife with another man
There maybe legal obligations... Exactly, legal obligations are the point when marriage, adultery and divorce are in the picture as were specifically referenced in the OP. Moral opinions of this case by others are irrelevant, even today.

Thai father’s plea to find missing daughter and 262,000 baht
No suggestion whatsoever that your bizarre speculation led to anything biting them, the reason for their decision was stated in the OP. Debts owed to others are not "removed from any bank accounts" unless it's an overdraft or associated credit card debt.
