Does anyone know the expected hours of operation?? Thanks
A 24 hour BTS from the airport would be so sweet.

These are some photos I took yesterday around Central World.
The main stage was set up there.
The protest stretched past Siam BTS and toward Pratunam.
Most of the businesses in the area were closed.
"Red in the Land" is printed on many of the shirts that are being sold.

Brunettes rule!
Indeed.....
reason for edit : I went looking for Red Shirts and all I found was Red Skirts

A few pics from yesterday.....nice photos MisterBeetle.
Thanks Pooklook!
Yours shots are better but! What sort of camera are you shooting with?
I might go back again during the week, was a bit hard to see everything with a baby in a stroller! Missed the motorbikes and the accessories, not to mention the night entertainment.
I shoot with the Canon 5D Mark II here in Thailand. I am going out to shoot some Red Protest pics today.
I think I will hit the show again tomorrow. Today is a good day for those in the know to lay low so no show
for me....let all the nice people with cell phone cameras get some shots....and tommorw it'll be
time to work again....You know we are lucky to be in the Land of Smiles...I know many of my friends in
the states who would give their right arm to be at the show....

I had hoped this next post would be to thank Thai Visa for fixing
my account. More than a month has passed since my original post
and I still have ads in the Phuket forum and I still can’t access s anything
linked to the forum galleries. This is especially a problem for me as
I mostly hang out in the photography forum .
Could someone please help me with this matter?
Could whoever takes their time to fix it please post here when it is
done so I can thank them for their time and efforts?

When possible use the two second delay so that the movement from
pressing and releasing the shutter button is gone.

I pray for good health and wish a happy birthday to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

I'd not say it was a boring country to photograph, far from it. I would say that it's a country where it's all too easy to run into cliched photos, something which I've still yet to fully conquer.
Nice photos AndyM.....where in the land of smiles did you take them?
The third pic is nice.....non of the photos have any data..what kind of
camera did you use......they all look professional
-
Many thanks to Kan Win for setting up this and other challenges.
In an often thankless world just wanted to take time to say Thanks

I have had the flash lock up a couple of times on several canon models.
I took the battery out to the camera and the flash and put them back in
and that seemed to solve it. Be sure to check the canon website for any
firmware updates that may be available for your camera.

That is the perfect balance, we get so used to taking pics in Thailand in many places and you come back home and
find that irrational concerns prevent you from taking photos in many places. Now if we can just get some people in
high places her to review the photo policy's.......or at least come up with a better explanation for the prohibition.
Skype Withdraws Thailand From "unlimited Country"
in IT and Computers
Posted
My unlimited Thailand for 5.95 is still working. Its set up on autobill.
I also have skype on my blackberry.
Can make calls to anyone in Thailand when I am logged in....
I did not know they had withdrawn Thailand from the list until today
when I was trying to help a friend sign up
The Skype business model seems to have drastically changed.
I did a quick search to find out more but did not find too much.
