Its very easy to get round the restrictions, yesterday a Burmese lad who once worked for us was in Bangkok at the bus station waiting to get on the bus to me to start work at our land. They told him as of yestedray he CANNOT travel on the buses as we all know only filthy Burmese carry covid.................however Wife then asked the bus depot lady how about we pay for a private bus......oh yes can, and they know where the police checkpoints are and they will drive around them. 3 hours and 2000 baht later the kid arrives with us 260km away form BKK, the only passenger on a bus (unmarked) and dont think we are the only ones doing this theyre doing a roaring trade and no I dont care beacsue the rule is stupid/discriminatory impying ALL and ONLY Burmese or migrant workers carry and spread covid and that the Thais are pure as the driven snow. To be honest the racism is disgusting.
