Queue jumper then cutting in almost hitting me in my blind spot, he didnt like it when he couldnt exceute his manouevre.... then got his machete out..............reported to the Police , absolutely nothing done and it took 3 attempts for them to even write a report twice waving me off and it was right outside the main police station by me, they had the videos and photos clearly showing numberplate and told me they knew him and "he no good" their words .....where do I claim my 50K
Typical Police BS just like the brief driving motorcycle on the pavement in BKK which they still do.

Stupidity of youth..............the convenience of letting your govt and data brokers monitor everything you do everywhere you go everything you buy all the time, no need to insert chips in new born babies the sheep-le have done it themselves with the "convenience" of mobile phones.

So you don’t like working people collectively negotiating for better pay and conditions.
I look forward to the budget addressing structural inequalities within the tax laws.
yeah thosed poor hard done by train drivers are really suffering. I blame all those bluddy pensioners raking in £220 a week £11492 disgusting.
The average train driver salary in the UK is £48,500 per year. Train drivers can expect to begin with an average starting salary of £30,000, with the highest salaries often exceeding £65,000.

About 30 minutes ago sitting under our ceiling fan going at full throttle to try to keep cool we heard a succession of small bangs. We immediately thought the fan elements were overheating and switched it off. Then a few minutes later the bangs started again but not coming from the fan. As my Thai lady walked over to the wall switches she felt like a mini earthquake coming from the floor and suddenly 5 large tiles rose up a millimetre or so with the grouting all spilling up around the edges.
I’m not suggesting that we had an earthquake by any means but I assume that the extreme heat of late has probably caused some expansion in the tiles and with no room to go sideways they’ve gone upwards. The temp here yesterday reached 41 and currently it’s 40.Cuz they aint got a clue about expansion and as important cleanliness, I mean who needs a vacuum when and old brush ( if your lucky) will do and NOTHING changes, just retiled my own balcony and the the neighbours above (leaked like a sieve into our room) They never clean the floor before tiling ( jetwash) they never vacuum it, they never use a bonding agent like Lanko 751 they dont really use tile adhesive just a bucket of "slop" mixed like p**s then to top it off use grout like water in joints that are hairline thick....,I could go on forever............the office of the building offered to fix the neighbours floor for 2000 baht the main priority for them was simple " he cheap" just about sums it up, in the end I removed 3 aircons stripped the floor ( not hard when not stuck down) washed it, dried it lanko'd it back buttered all tiles etc blah blah. Floors ive done, and I mean done not watched or supervised as even if you supervise theyll mix the adhesive like water, My Grouting wont fall out of the mixing bucket if you turn it upside down theirs is like water. One room finished last year ripped everything out for her indoors, did everything myself its the ONLY safe way. I have all the time in the world........ feel sorry for the poor sod who ever has to remove them although easier to tile over them. Excuse wifes crap music, took me about 10 weeks no help, built ins made locally in BKK but i install them Oh yeah this was the one I built a block wall inside to shut the neighbour 's noise up, did it just fine despite some pratts telling me it would do nothing........

Nothing to do with taxation.
I've always used the 800/400K funds in the bank method using a Fixed Term Deposit account.
Years ago, they enquired about my income. Their mindset was by providing funds in an FTD account, how did I manage to maintain my stay in Thailand and the suspicion of working illegally. Since then, I've always had the bank put details of both the Savings and FCD accounts on the letter.
FTD for Immigration purposes, Savings account for expenditures.
Ok But the question is THIS YEAR have you been asked if using the 800-400k where your money comes from ie how you earn it?

I think it has nothing to do with tax I think they are trying to trip you up to find out if your working illigal. IMO
possibly but who knows, but just wanted to know if many people are being asked for it "this year" in the last 14 years only asked once previously so could just be random, will know more next year

Answer,
I don't have any income, just 400k in my Thai bank account.
yes but that wont last forever. Im with you though I dont want anyone looking at where my money comes from, or do you remove it all and then rebank it again.

Just nosey bustards IMO.
possibly or told to ask with a view to see if worth chasing it later for tax, it was written down oddly enough but just on a scrap of paper

Years ago, They got my wife to ask me how much my pension was, I said you tell him it's none of his business, I have never been asked since. Edit That was money in the bank method.
ok good one positive so far, anyone else on the 400-800 ( not per month method)

I disagree as I have said I have been asked using the money in the bank method, they can ask either way if they want to. What you tell them is up to you.
Yes Ive been asked twice just wondered if this year they were asking everyone on 800-400k in bank method as a prelude to seeing how much foreigners overseas income is with the view to taxation

Using funds in the bank immigration will not question origin on funds.
its exactly what they did by asking me where my money came from ie how I get an income Not mixing anything, am interested if people are getting asked how much income they get when using the 800-400k method. And this time it was written down even though on a scrap of paper by IO as I think wIfe told them house rentals in the UK.
-
let me rephrase it, for those who simply show the 800-400k in the bank method only

Been doing Marriage visa for over 14 years , only once previously asked where my income came from about 12 years ago. This year I was asked where my income came from and about how much it was per month. I wasnt asked to prove anything.
Prelude to taxing us and guesstimating how much long stayers might be able to be milked?
It was asked and written down on a scrap of paper by immigration officer not on any official form.
So my question is THIS YEAR were you asked how much and where your income came from?

Lived at this land for 14 years had 4 visits from the Forestry dept in that time, same reason every time...............according to them theyve been notified that weve been cutting down trees up the hill illegally.
Some local village <deleted> keeps ringing them up and telling them this, incredibly theyve now been out for the 4th time in 14 years despite them saying previously we'd cut nothing down and done nothing wrong.
8 of them turn up having driven all the way from Kuiburi to Pranburi.......... wasted their time again, wonder how many more times theyll be dumb enough to fall for whoever is callin g them.
Told the Wife to make it known if we find out who it is we'll go to court for ( insert any reason u like) told the forestry people why dont they call the person back whose done this an make them pay for the fuel and salaries of the 8 people who had to come out.............and Wife got them to give us a written report stating no problem and to make a note NEVER to come back.
Welcome to the world of the village idiot.
Dont bother posting often so dont expect any response
FBI at front gate Forestry Bull<deleted> Inc, aint their fault but they should go after the caller and make em pay then theyd probably be not so keen to spread BS

you know what ive decded this forum is a load of <deleted>e and wont bother with anymore posts as they always end like this. If youd seen the news a few years back they said they were doing a big bike licence................... oh whats the fukkin point sod off

Our own subjective opinion is somewhat irrelevant to what the authorities call a big bike...
Ride a Triumph Rocket (at 2458cc) and nearly every other motorcycle is no longer a big-bike !!!...
been mentioned over 400 cc originally, that wasnt my opinion and the basis for the comment about what happoened to it. They said 400cc up was going to be classed as big bike.

You mean you renewed your standard Motorcycle license ???...
well they announced the "big bike licence" so i assumed theyd done it , hence why I put big bike licence as its relevant to the thread of "whatever happened to it"
