I once saw a highway patrol car drive around a 6 foot metal crate in the centre lane of a 3 lane road, they didnt stop to remove it just left it there, fell off the back of something but that just shows how they are.

Well I guess this is aimed at me, Im here to buy some trees, which I have done which will be planted at the land and I will take back in the morning about 5 am.........along with my bitterness???? asked the tree seller how business was and he said "really good" seems people at home are buying more trees.

My post is discussing Bangkok not Hua hin, I actually live 20km from Hua Hin when not in BKK and if they have NO jobs then why dont they go look for farm work beacsue I cant find anyone willing to do it for 14k a month inc accomodation and electric and Im not alone as many by me are having the same problems with land work, fields once full of fruit now left to go back to jungle unused, what those unemployed mean is they cant find a job doing as little as possible for as much money as they can get when work IS available but they choose not to do it.

its always a difficult line and they end up like in the Uk stopping sensible people doing almost anything due to the morons in society which the laws then cater for. Always aiming at the lowest fruit.

And drive as badly as the rest of them.

Drove up to Nonthaburi today from BKK 2 checkpoints blocking the road causing tailbacks, absolutely no one manning them at all, face saving as usual.

My Wife owns 8 condos in Bangkok, all have paid their rents none have been late , rooms vary from studios to 1-2 beds maximum her rents however are competitive because she OWNS them, she has not borrowed to finance any of them.

Huh some funny comments, I dont normally live here I live in a very rural part of Thailand but Wife owns 8 condos she rents out, all full all full despite covid, I occasionaly visit maybe twice a year. I dont see any job losses in rural areas in fact you cant find anyone to help working at the land at all.

Problem with this is they will tell you they have a buyer interested.

Bit over dramatic a 9-4 curfew hardly limits the earning potential of most people.

Havent been to BKK for ages, always too nosiy for me , but with the current curfew the place is a joy now, So lovely and queit at night, can actually sleep well without those stupid noisy motorbikes and cars.

Ive yet to eat any Thai food Ive enjoyed in 17 years, I find it appalling.
