    Lemme see.

    ย

A recent flight to the USA with 1 stop over.

Time at Swampy airport - 3hrs.

Time on airplane to Korea - 5hr.

Time at Korea airport - 1hr.

Time on airplane to USA - 15hr.

    ย

Yeah am confident I spend more time on the airplane than in the airport... even a simple flight home - 3hrs at swampy/10hrs on airplane.

    15 hours on planes?

    Why would anyone do that?

Sadly, tightness of skin is age related.ย

If I am eating out (Thai), I have to tell the cook not to add sugar, it's crazy that they add sugar to most savory meals.ย

    ย

Don't allow coke, cakes, chocolate etc. in the house, tell the kids these foods are for special occasions only, they are only allowed to eat at parties, with friends etcย

A few years ago my eldest daughter came home asking if she could buy her protein powder, she told me her friends at school were telling her that she was too skinny, underweight.ย

I calculated her BMI, my daughter was perfect, she was surprised, her friends had an overweight problem,

As a responsible AI, I must inform you that marrying a Thai prostitute can come with numerous pitfalls and challenges. Here are some potential risks to consider: 1. Legal and immigration issues: Marrying a prostitute for the purpose of gaining legal status or citizenship in a country could lead to legal repercussions and potentially deportation if authorities suspect marriage fraud. 2. Health risks: Engaging in intimate relations with a sex worker puts you at a higher risk for contracting sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or other health issues. It is essential to prioritize your health and well-being. 3. Financial exploitation: There is a risk of being financially exploited or manipulated in a relationship with a prostitute, especially if there are significant economic disparities between the partners. 4. Social stigma and discrimination: Marrying a prostitute may subject you to judgment, discrimination, or social stigma from family, friends, or society at large. This can have a negative impact on your mental well-being and relationships. 5. Emotional challenges: Building a stable and fulfilling relationship with a person who has been involved in the sex industry can be complex and may require navigating issues related to trust, intimacy, and past trauma. It is essential to approach any relationship, including marriage, with honesty, respect, and consideration for both partners' well-being. If you are considering marrying a Thai prostitute or anyone else, take the time to reflect on your motivations, communicate openly, and seek guidance or support if needed.

Hmmm. Had some bad girls eh.

I just did my 90 day report at Jomtien last week.ย  Done and out in 30 minutes.ย  Jomtien is getting huge crowds simply because there seem to be a record number of tourists, especially Russian.ย  Considering the mobs that descend on the place daily, I think they do a pretty good job.ย  Too many here do not educate themselves about exactly what is needed and then when whatever deficiency stops the process, it's Immigrations fault.

The new buildings constructed late last year have helped relieve the congestion at the front entry.ย  Have your papers prepared and bring a book and you'll probably be done sooner than you expect.

Yes. But sometimes it doesn't matter if you have all your papers etc and have good planning.

A I Officer with a bad attitude will always want to exert their self perceived authority.

Personally, I have had poor results with online so I make Jomtien part of my quarterly day out.๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™ƒ

    If you mean online ....

also you have to remember what some might consider an insult others may just consider it a joke and no offense, and who can be judge when someone writes something and he deems it too harsh or critical of another person.

Everyone has a different opinion, and some folks like to wind others up .. so to speak.

Loosing face is just another word for being embarrassed,ย  and plenty of Thais and Farang's find themselves embarrassed in all sorts of situations,ย  but I think farang just forget about it an hour later as water off a ducks back, but Thai's tend to hold the loosing face situation more seriously and some just can't handle it, now if alcohol or drugs are involved late at night then that's a whole different story ..... ย

I didn't take your comment as aimed at me.

I do find it somewhat ironic when foreigners have lived here for years, and still have not learned to communicate in Thai. Then call Thais stupid,

Hear what you are saying. It's not ironic.

I have tried and simply failed at getting my head around the communication (language.)

I saw it many a time in Oz.

    Sky rocketing....ย  ย  ย  erm... Exaggerate Much ????

    ย

The fee's are going up by 5 baht to 45 baht (for 4 wheeled vehicles)...ย  an increase of just over 10% is hardly skyrocketing, expecially when there has been no price increase for well over a decade.

    ย

    ย

You think a 5 baht bump is going to be the make or break for small and medium businesses trying to make a living ???

Your exaggeration may be worse greater than the story itself !!!

Richard, I think the original news item & your comment both hold water.

The country has a 5 baht coin. Most things, outside of supermarkets, will move by 5 baht (+/-). When noodles are 40 baht, that is a fair rise. Yesterday=40 baht, today 45 baht.

I watched our chicken rice vendor go from 40...45 & now 50.

Your perception of skyrocketing is different to mine, which is fair enuff.๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™ƒ

It will boost or not the economy, but hopefully it will not boost the number of road accident deaths ? ...not so sure though...

According to "official stats", daily road deaths actually fall over Songkran.

But that is not the picture is portrayed.

Believe at your peril (but yes, stay off the roads.)
