For NL go to coronacheck.nl --> Switch website to English. Login using Digi-D. Download international EU certificate. This gives you 1 pdf with 2 pages; one page for each vaccination dose. Open PDF --> Export each page to a high res JPG file. These JPG files need to be uploaded for the certificate. They also ask for the QR coded separately: I've duplicated the jpg image from certificate dose 2/2 and cropped it to only show the QR code including some white space around it. That one i've uploaded for both the QR codes.

PS. If you're really really in a hurry: try making another new Gmail account. And try to use a different internet connection (mobile hot spot). If still no confirmation it could be they check your attempts on Passport number; you can try to add a space after the passport number... so many options!

I did it exactly the same way.
I had to create a gmail account because some users report hotmail etc. isn't working. Bought a prepaid simcard for a new phone number to sign up with gmail.
Collected the hotel booking confirmation, coronacheck international certificate, and passport copy. No need for insurance as it's for a Thai national. It's strange no flight confirmation was asked, just the flight number.
Opened all PDF files with photoshop, cropped the QR code from the international certificate and exported all to jpeg with a medium resolution to keep the size below 2mb each. The vaccine certificate does not show the passport number, you know... privacy.
Then submitted it all, no extra space after the passport number and chose Test and go.

Collection of the documents, export and submitting it all took about 30 minutes total.
Within seconds i received a confirmation email from thailandpass, it says the process can take up to 7 days to complete.

To the people that have already received their thailandpass. How much time did it take for you between registration and receiving the actual pass? I've read 4 days to some within hours?

I brought SHA+ one night 'quarantine package' from Agoda.
The hotel asked for passport, vaccine certificate, flight number and insurance document (no mention of 'medical certificate examination')
They then sent me a receipt certificate stating they are doing everything for me (covid test, airport pick up etc.)

(I had to get my wife to call them in Thailand to hurry up the process)

I have then just now resubmitted the Thai Pass... but I'm not hopeful to get anything back other than then confirmation email... I fly on the 11th

Hotels don't even know the rules.
    I think i'll give them a call.
Do you really need the letter from the hotel? They told me the booking confirmation from agoda works just fine and can be uploaded to thailandpass.

  3. I have received an email from the SHA+ hotel (larger chain) requesting a medical certificate COVID19 examination.
Is that required by the government? I've not seen it anywhere in the Thailandpass regulations.

A medical certicate is not even a thing where we live, and i don't know how i could obtain one in such short notice.

    Such a clusterf....

I was in the Phuket Sandbox last month.

No package, I booked a SHA+ hotel on Agoda for 600 baht per night.

They needed my passportcopy for the SHABA registration

Booked and paid the tests here https://www.thailandpsas.com/

This is mentioned on the thailandpass website:

Paid AQ / SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation (for the duration of 1 day and including the fee for one RT-PCR test)

  5. Guys, i'm starting to feel i made a mistake booking the flight for my wife. She also has already taken time off from work which was not easy to do. We're not retired.... and we don't have all the time in the world to reschedule things because this piece of * government can't even set up a simple registration website.

The only way to buy a package is from agoda, as mentioned by some posters.
I tried to reason with the hotel in siam but they say there's no other option to book than sending both sides of a credit card and a copy of the passport by email. Knowing how they deal with such sensitive matters in Thailand, no thanks!

The credit card must be on the name of the person staying in the hotel which is not me. My wife is going and she does not own a credit card. By the way, credit cards are really not even a thing where we live! Everything is done here with electronic payment or ATM card.

To buy a whole package seems to be mandatory. From the thailand pass website:

"Paid AQ / SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation (for the duration of 1 day and including the fee for one RT-PCR test)"

You must also be picked up by the hotel taxi/van, although that's not clearly mentioned on the website.

So 1 night + transport + PCR-test package PRE-PAID! Booking the room only like some posters (and the hotel self) have mentioned will not work.

The flight ticket has already been booked, arriving early in the evening. That means she'll probably be quarantined for 2 nights. Test&go? yeah right!

This whole test&go is utter BS. It's just a shortened quarantine with still too many hoops to go through.
I'm starting to get frustrated with the inconsistency and lack of clearly stated requirements and regulations.
What was i thinking? Nothing has changed since we left Thailand. It's still the same bureaucratic, incompetent government that can't get anything right. F...

  6. How did you guys book your SHA+ website? I understand it must be some kind of package, 1 night + testing on hotel premises + pickup from airport by hotel (taking a normal taxi is not allowed?).

Booking.com does not list any packages and i don't want to be slapped wit ha 10k bill later on for a simple PCR test and transportation, solly solly sir, is special price for you sir.

  7. My wife wants to visit Thailand after the much anticipated "re-opening".

Do the same rules apply to her? Does she have to get a Thailand-pass (replacement for CoE) with all the requirements?

    - COVID insurance 100k THB

    - SHA+ pre-booked and pre-paid hotel for 7 days (or is it 1 day until the negative result has come in?)

    - Vaccination certificate

    - Negative PCR test pre-boarding?

    - on arrival PCR test??? (If so, how many times and what will it cost in total?)

    ???? TiT

  8. Our has car has been standing idle (in a covered carport) for nearly 3 years, not been driven since we left Thailand, but we have someone to turn on the engine for 15 minutes once a month.

I'm worried that the tyres have dried out, really a shame because i replaced the tyres with expensive michellin a few months before we left Thailand.

Does anyone know if tyres should be replaced after x years?

The motoroil needs to be replaced ofcourse, are there any other things that degrade faster when idle? Maybe the brake hoses or other rubber parts?

    Thanks guys

I've noticed that too.  Claims that "I've lived here forever" and a few dozen posts that sound like adverts for Thai ministries marketing campaigns.
I'm working on Page 3 of my "ignore" list adding a few of these accounts that have come out of nowhere recently and immediately became policy-apologists as well as going into attack-mode against legitimate critique.

    The junta's own 50-cent army?

  10. We live in Europe, wife has been fully vaccinated with the moderna vaccine and needs to visit her family in Isaan for some important matters.

Does she still have to quarantine for 14-days in BKK before visiting isaan if she travels sometime in July?

Is there perhaps a way around it? This is all so confusing because the rules keep being changed.
I for one am not going to visit Thailand with any quarantine in place.
