Once I have left Thailand and have the exit stamp for Thailand, could I not just switch the side of the road and just reenter Thailand without ever having entered Cambodia in the first place? I would like to do a border run at the "Chong Chom/O Smach" border in Surin. Netherland Passport. This would be my first border run. Questions: 1. What is currently the amount of days one receives via visa on arrival at a land border coming from Cambodia, 15 or 30? 2. I am not planning on using an agent as that border is pretty small and I am not doing those typical border runs you have from BKK, Pattaya etc. I am just conveniently in Surin at that time and I just need to leave the country. I cannot agree more. I have lived and rode my bike in Pats and Bangkok, where even some Thais don't dare to ride the bike. But I have to say that down in Rawaii in Phuket is just the most dangerous area to ride a bike. Tourists with their rented big bikes and scooters without any or extremely insufficient experience race their bikes like there is no tomorrow. Mostly very aggressive, no helmet, shirtless, way to fast etc.

The chinese are just the worst, absolutely ZERO respect for anyone or anything. There are exceptions of course and I do not want to generalize.

Signed. Phuket town is actually a good location. Best part is that it is not that overpriced, (touristly overcrowded) location like let's say Patong or Rawai. You still find your 500THB hookers here. ????

As I am planning to move to Phuket soon I was wondering if there is any chess hustler community over there. Here in Pattaya, Jomtien respectively, we have a small one which gathers at Jomtien Beach for relaxed chess games. Anything similar in Phuket, e.g. like a park or a place at the beach where people are chessing?

Are there any supermarkets around Phuket that cater to foreigners specifically? In Pattaya, for example, there are some smaller supermarkets (i.e. Siamburi's), more like little shops, that have mostly imported goods from England but also some other frozen goods (salmon, beef patties etc.) that are way cheaper than those in Tops, Villa etc. Is there anything like that on Phuket. Also is there some sort of farmers market or organic food shop?
