Logic is a word that is redundant in this country !!

I see people doing the simplest of things and making it into the something that would be in Einstein’s notepad . ????

Two examples in last few days are getting dog a haircut and getting a vaccine. Dogs hair takes a hour at most and same for most dogs roughly so I asked wife to book appointment. She goes in and comes out and I ask what time it’s for . She says I just call and they tell me busy or not ????

Getting vaccine was a nightmare. Told appointment was at 1pm and arrive 15 minutes before. So 300 people are there at 1pm all waiting in line to submit passport copy and proof off appointment , then when done this they are all standing around waiting in the middle of a working hospital area for their name to be called to go get the jab .
Why can’t they think ok tell 75 people come between 1-1.30pm , same for 1.30-2pm etc . Oh that’s right , because they have no logic !! ????

More pointless investigation if you can call it that .

They spout off about doing this and that to find the truth and uphold the law and everyone knows the outcome no matter how long it takes .

None of them will ever be found guilty of any wrongdoing as they have set it up to protect themselves from just about everything and any investigation etc into them or their finances will be shut down as a threat to the country and the person or group threatened with court or jail.

Odd the number of times you hear Thais say dangerous or it kill you when in fact the creature is usually totally harmless. They seem to know very little or zero about the wildlife in their country. 
You might think they would add a few hours in the school program to say ok this is a king cobra so avoid and this is a tree snake so no problem etc .

Yeah because it’s handy for keeping the protestors in check ! 
Watch the numbers of protestors rise over the coming weekends until this madness is reduced or stopped .

If they had mass tested people 6 months or so ago they might have realised they weren’t as brilliant as they thought . Their own self worth and ego of proclaiming look how amazing we are with our low numbers has now shot them in the foot . Yeah you had low numbers for months as you weren’t testing anyone !!

I swear they are having a competition and the winner who makes up the biggest pile of nonsense gets to be in charge ! ????????????????

Wheelchair parts are 20% rated also.   What was the breakdown on the couriers receipt?

 

It's odd how Thaivisa ranters on this subject can never show their receipts with the alleged false charges detailed that would back up their claims.  

Yeah sure no problem. I will just go to the local landfill site and look it up for you , although it might have moved in 6 years !! ????????

The clothes were an Armani t-shirt and Calvin Klein underwear from house of Fraser in uk. Came to £125 and my import costs I had to pay were just under £80 ! 
Wheelchair cushion was £100 and I paid equivalent of £50 to have it handed over.

Show me a receipt from a pair of trainers you bought 6 year ago and I will bow down in awe !

Total nonsense.  DHL (and all the courier companies) are agent for the Customs Dept and collect the official duty rates and VAT plus a small admin charge that they are permitted to charge.   All charges are detailed on the delivery slip and if you are not happy with the duty rates they can be disputed with the Customs Dept.

Where else would you expect Import duty and VAT to go?   Every government charges it!

So explain how I got billed £80 tax for £120 value in clothes sent from uk ?? The rate taxable for this is something like 20% or less. I have also been shafted for wheelchair parts which are also in a very low tax bracket yet had to pay around 50% of the value in tax !!

I avoid and tell everyone to avoid DHL like the plague . Always get crazy charges added .

I was told before they actually have a contract with the customs here to charge high taxes etc as part of it goes to customs or government as a nice earner for doing nothing .

Most will be shut already due to crazy rules and times in restaurants , so won’t make much difference if they get shut for selling alcohol ! ????????

Subsides ?? The place still looks like a wasteland from a mad max movie and these lunatics think they are doing an excellent job vaccinating people and they will just flick a switch and all will be well !!
