  1. Brilliant thanks for the swift reply (is it usual for immigration to give you a new 90 day report notification when you renew your extension ?)
  2. A slightly different question on a similar theme, I did my first online 90 day report in mid September meaning my next report would be mid December, when i renewed my yearly extension in mid October immigration gave me a new 90 day report slip with my next report due in Jan 2023, I have just received an email from noreply@eservices .immigration.go.th saying my 90 day report is now due (mid december) just wondering what the best course of action would be TIA for any pointers
  3. Does she have a female friend of similar standing? I'm in. Whats her Mum up to ??
  4. Just a quick update on my application for info, I applied Monday AM approved Thursday PM as has been said minimal info was requested, Name, PP number, address (It wouldn't let me submit the form with the road/lane box left empty so i just put unknown Rd and it worked ok) entry to Thailand date and permission to stay date, no mention of TM 6 or visa details so all in all a pretty painless process many thanks for the info provided and good luck with your online application ????????
  5. I've heard some offices wont accept the 65k per month or combination method has anybody had experience with Loei immigration office ?
  6. Just the question i was about to ask, so it goes to the immigration office that deals with the address you provide on the application ? i submitted mine 2 days ago and it is saying status pending
  7. Thanks for the info ????
  8. Hi, Just after some info really, my renewal is not for quite a while, my circumstances are as follows I live in Thailand on a non O based on retirement with a yearly extension i visit the UK at least once a year, given the choice would you renew in Thailand or the UK ? I'm wondering about stamp transfers Immigration issues general knob-ache etc. ? any help greatly appreciated TIA
  9. Sorry if i'm being a bit thick but how would the UK authorities know where you reside ?
  10. Would the state pension be frozen if it was paid into a uk bank account ?
  11. Just a quick question if you go on holiday for a week does the hotel automatically complete a TM 30 for you as a foreigner and if so do you have to refile a TM 30 on your return to your permanent address
  12. So as I said (Twice) if you're using an agent for anything other than document checking or hand holding you do Not need a bank account
  13. Sorry I'm a bit confused are you saying the agent puts 800k in your account for the visa application then you give it back to them ? as has been said its usually one of two ways either you have a bank account with sufficient funds and the agent assists with the paperwork and application or the agent sorts everything out and you don't need a bank account, the stamps are invariably from a northern province but as I said immigration aren't bothered when you return to Thailand because there is no restriction on where you live or travel to and the stamps are from a genuine immigration office
  14. If doing non O, extension etc. through an agent you don't need a bank account and immigration (on return to Thailand) aren't bothered where the stamps are from as its not a requirement to live in the the same place all the time
  15. The Mrs said he's got a vibrating alarm on all his watches.................. well when I say his.......
  16. Same one I got CSE in Knitting
  17. I use the Nexus Gluco Rx system any idea how much the testing strips are in Thailand ?
  18. Had a similar experience at Suvarnabhumi Airport few years back didn't check when I passed through immigration only when having a pint in domestic waiting for my internal flight, I was only stamped in for 30 days but had a 60 day visa, went to the info desk between A and B and the most helpful bloke I've ever met rushed me through a secret door and a few corridors and in what seemed like no time was back in immigration where the IO corrected it and apologised ????????
  19. I was also asked by the IO for my boarding pass (Never been asked before) but I couldn't find it and she didn't seem too bothered and stamped me in anyway
  20. I flew into BKK last week from the UK with Thai air and they gave me one on the plane to complete, at immigration the IO kept the arrivals section and gave the departure section back to me
  21. I really think its pretty easy to assume the OP would "do it himself" if he like many others had either the time or the inclination, the question was about a recommendation for a reliable visa agent some of us just cant be Ar$ed with all the Faff with I/O's especially when they are a long way from our home
