I've been told by the professionals that insulin is quite delicate and has to kept at 2 to 8 degrees also the small pen vials are made of glass and quite easy to break I've tried the freezer gel bags in a cool box before but its a right faff and if the insulin goes below 0 degrees its buggered. My main thoughts about a mini fridge and UPS was it could be stand alone with no need to handle it, cheers

I think the longest power cut I've seen was about 8 hrs not sure if that is pretty normal ? probably safe to go for around 18 hrs would you agree ? the mini fridge id been looking at was an ACONATIC Single Door Refrigerator (1.7 Cubic) AN-FR468 it doesn't mention Inverter in the bumf so I guess its not

Hi all due to the amount of power cuts recently I am thinking of buying a Mini Fridge (85 watt 50 litre capacity 1.7 cubic roughly the size of a hotel bedroom fridge) to store my insulin in and would appreciate any advice on the best power backup source, I've seen the portable power stations on line but the amps/watts/MAH values are a bit confusing so any help on which size would be required and whether it could be configured to kick in automatically in the event of a power cut would be of great help (Not sure if this is the correct forum location please feel free to move if required) TIA

The insurance was through the dealership and is class 1 the car is a 2 year old Honda BRV, the repair shop said this morning that its down to Honda not supplying the parts on time due to the Global slowdown ???? I'm expecting the next excuse to be the war in Ukraine quickly followed by Brexit and when all else fails there's always the wilted lettuce formerly known as Liz Truss ????????

I've been told by the Mrs that they've said its down to parts (its not an old vehicle) the new year holidays, it went to a Honda dealership for the original estimate then the insurers sent it to another garage as they said it was too expensive. I cant find anybody to speak English to and the Mrs isn't the type to argue unfortunately

My Mrs was involved in an accident in our car in mid November last year and the car is still in the repair shop, I keep asking her to message / ring them for updates but she seems to think its nothing unusual to be without the car for so long 4 months and counting (it was quite badly damaged) does anybody have a similar experience and could it be due to who was deemed at fault for the accident ?

Hi all just a quick query (more for conformation really) does the 800k for a Non O retirement visa yearly extension need to be in the account for 3 months ( is that exactly 90 days ?) prior to the renewal date and 2 months ( is that exactly 60 days) after the renewal date ? and for the other period of time (7 Months) it has to stay above 400k TIA for any replies

Hi just had a very similar experience did an online report last September no problem, but got a new 90 day report when i did my yearly extension in October I got an email reminder in December even though my report date was now January and was told to ignore it and apply online in January tried last week but it was rejected almost immediately phoned immigration (would have gone in person but its 150 km away) the officer told my Mrs to copy my 90 day report, visa extension, passport photo page and TM 30 and send it via EMS to the IO. I got the new TM 47 this morning so it all worked out in the end. I'm not sure if i will be able to use the online report site again ? ill give it a try in April but it doesn't look like the online system recognises anything that happens in person at the IO

seeing as you haven't got a clue about the facts of the case can I refer the "honourable" gentleman to the statement I made some 16 hours ago (neck, wind etc.)

Hi all as I posted in November "I did my first online 90 day report in mid September meaning my next report would be due mid December, when i renewed my yearly extension in mid October immigration gave me a new 90 day report slip with my next report due in mid Jan 2023, i was advised to ignore the reminder i got from immigration online in December because i had the paper copy stapled into my passport, I have just applied for my 90 day report online and it has been rejected within 6 hours with the message "Please contact the nearest Immigration Office in person immediately" anybody had a similar experience ? TIA
