True of everywhere, and Thailand lost its allure a very long time ago.

Thailand, a long played-out travel destination, has become a cesspool of Indians, Middle Easterners, and Russians. Even the Chinese are staying away.

OK, I imagine it can happen in Phils (though I've never been there). But any others?

9-10 locals vs. 1 western tourist is something that only happens in Thailand. It's a Thai thing. Never even happens in Cambodia, China, Vietnam...it's only in Thailand. Just below the surface, Thais absolutely hate farangs. Take your money elsewhere.

I have never heard of any other country where tourists get their heads stomped in by 9-10 locals. This is purely a Thai thing. Never happens in Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Philippines...not even in China, where they openly hate foreigners...why is that? This is something special to Thailand, and it's a damn good indication that just barely under the surface, Thais utterly hate farangs.

Any and all news related to China is BAD NEWS, and it will never change.

You haven't been in Asia long enough if you don't think leaning on a car could bring on savage behavior.

Thai bouncers are utter savages, and letting them go unpunished makes Thailand look terrible.

Met a huge drunken Russian in a bar in Phnom Penh recently who was shouting loudly in English that Ukraine will be destroyed next month, that he hates Poland, and that while he is "easy guy, I easy guy" -America is "big gangster country" that causes all of world's problems. He then shouted for everyone to "vote Trump, save America". He said he lives in Phuket, and would love to return to Russia, but he cannot. He looked like a body-builder very much able to serve on the battlefield, but for some unexplained reason, he's stuck in Phuket and has to cheer from the sidelines.

The only thing Chinese want to do at a national park is eat the wildlife.

I've said it before and I will say it again: any and all news related to China/Chinese is BAD NEWS.
