  1. Yeah, it’s just a screw up. Isn’t that for a Non-B?
  2. Sorry old bean, but you have absolutely no chance in hell of winning this one. There is no Elliot Ness figure at the top of this chain who is even slightly interested in your case or cleaning any of this up
  3. Sorry but you can’t be helped. It’s none of my business by you have a Thai bank account, but it’s a red flag to the consular section. They want to know you are a UK resident that is just visiting Thailand for tourism purposes and you have given them a massive reason to doubt that (voluntarily) phoning them up to argue this point will do you no good whatsoever, but not doubt you will ignore all other advice here and continue to do just that.
  4. I have no doubt it’s vulnerable, remember the farce with the vaccine sign up for falang where you could see other people’s applications?
  5. he obviously needs help with this but won’t listen to any help anyone is offering. not much you can do in that situation.
  6. Nobody is calling you a scammer. You are likely the victim of a phishing email. You are obviously in some distress and advise you to cancel this visa application. Create a new account with another email address and apply again. Don’t send them any Thai bank statements, just send a UK one with your home address, your accommodation details and a return flight
  7. It’s how immigration think. They are always on the lookout for people that aren’t “legitimate” tourists. That visa is for someone flying in and out for a holiday, having a Thai Bank account sets off red flags for them, they can argue you must be working there. Just make life easy for yourself, play the game
  8. It’s not 10K for a Visa now. It’s a phishing scam also don’t send a Thai bank statement when applying for a Visa in the UK. That will set off a lot of red flags. Why would a UK resident have a Thai bank account if they were just a tourist for a few weeks?
  9. I’ll translate this post “I don’t know”
  10. Thanks for the help guys, appreciated as always
  11. Yeah, my driving licence (EU) and my 2nd passport (not the one i entered Thailand on)
  12. leaving my job and have to drop my passport and work permit off at work to be cancelled in Bangkok. In the meantime I need to go to Udon so obviously won’t have my passport with me. Would a photocopy of the passport be enough for boarding?
  13. Thanks, that’s interesting. I’ll probably do that.
  14. The issue is reporting the taxation in Thailand There is no company tax in Estonia until I get my accounts audited and take a dividend. Salary is tax free there IF I show evidence of reporting my personal income tax here in Thailand where I have a TIN i just don’t know how to report my Income Tax here on an overseas salary. if I get audited and pay myself a dividend, it’s 20% corporation tax in Estonia and whatever it is here in Thailand on personal income from dividends
  15. I thought about this, but because im not Estonian and don’t reside there I can’t get a personal account in Estonia unless I’m very much mistaken
  16. Yeah, sounds complicated and I don’t have a Thai company bank account. been stuck on this for a while. I’ll share my findings
  17. I did the same thing. Something popped up during online banking on Santander asking me if I was UK resident and I said yes (I haven’t been for 15 years) nothing ever came of it. This was like 2 years ago
  18. Yeah, loads of people use Wise as their UK bank and just convert it to Baht and send to BBL as “funds for long term stay in Thailand”
  19. I live and work in Thailand for a Thai company, have a work permit and pay social security etc But i also have a company in Estonia and want to take some money out. And pay it into my Thai account Can anyone recommend an advisor or accountant who can advise me on this? There is all sorts of stories about overseas income and the tax status of that here, so I’d like to get real advice Thanks
  20. A friends of mine has accidentally overstayed by a few days. Can he still go to immigration and get a 30 day extension and pay the fine? 1900 + 500 a day came in on Visa Exempt thanks
