  1. Time was good because you were young. If you think only commies can lie, you’ve aged naïve.
  2. I see your point. In one sentence it can be summarized as “bend over and do as they say”. For me the logical fallacies, half truths and flip flopping in this “fight” with covid have been too many to ignore and simply accept. I prefer to stay on the fence for now waiting it out. The only nuisance is inability to travel to countries like Thailand. I will need to look to other lands that share my viewpoint that vaccination for this virus must not be mandatory for travelers. Example of logical fallacy. People who recovered from covid must be given the same status as vaccinated people. But no, bend over and get your jab, everyone. I could go on with more bs that they want people to simply accept but it’ll be too long.
  3. The screenshot you pulled out literally says “older” adults, it’s all about them. There is no good argument to vaccinate younger adults, given that the average age of deaths from covid ranges between 70-80, depends on the country. Younger adults question vaccination because they do not consider covid a dangerous disease for themselves. There are dangerous diseases that require vaccinations, usually at a very young age. Covid does not. The more pressure to vaccinate, the more the resistance to this bs.
  4. The worst place because all venues are closed and atmosphere of fear, not because a few elderly people died.
  5. Sweden adjusted their restrictions because it was becoming more costly politically for Sweden to be an outcast in the EU, not because they changed their mind. They can’t afford not to follow the herd rules in the EU. Politics.
  6. How do you even contain a pandemic of respiratory nature? One has to have a superhuman ubermensch power. The problem is governments over the world cornered themselves by making people believe that this is possible by imposing lockdowns. But it has always been impossible, and now governments don’t know what to do about people believing that it’s possible. Keep listening to big pharma and keep digging themselves a deeper hole.
  7. Nah, there won’t be a spike. 20 000 cases tops. Health experts have been enjoying too much cash thrown at them, they want to keep rolling in dough and we’ll be hearing lots of wishful thinking from them for months and possibly years to come.
  8. Lol, of course not. If you think people haven’t been socializing with families and neighbors and spreading the virus during the lockdown, i have a bridge to sell to you. The wave will keep going down because the part of the population that haven’t met the virus yet is getting smaller each day. Most of this self-inflicted horror will be over by October.
  9. I am not sure if that can be called a success, looks high to me, far from eradication. I’ve seen info that half of the new dead and seriously sick had been vaccinated. Anyhow, i think i will call it a forum day.
  10. These studies read like astrology for now. Israel thought that vaccination would eradicate infections, also based on “studies”. Wait a few years before they figure it out. It seems they tossed the previous 100 years of studying infections out of the window and are trying to re-invent a wheel. Some part of population fell for it.
  11. Unvaccinated young adults were more responsible because they are more socially active than vaccinated seniors staying at home who were given priority in vaccinations. Who could the latter have infected, their cat? Ongoing study. We’ve seen our fair share of ongoing studies recently. I live in a country that requires certain vaccinations for children for dangerous diseases. I was vaccinated for them as most others. It’s offtopic for covid.
  12. You like to write more than read, don’t you? Read my posts, i am not going to take a hospital bed.
  13. Yes, this suits my personal philosophy of relying on myself and this is what i intend to do. The problem is the nanny state does not give equal rights to the unvaccinated even though the vaccinated can transmit the virus as well. It’s like abortions, woman must have a choice or not? Religion says no. Vaccination has become a state religion.
  14. I’d love to sign a contract for not requiring medical treatment if not vaccinated or pay out of pocket full amount not to take valuable resources but our nanny states don’t give that option. Many people would love this option just to get it off their back. Nope, this is not available. Herd must go in one direction. Well, f that! ps: flatearthers, covid a hoax. Oh no, not this s again. Don’t you guys get tired of repeating same old? There are people who refuse to be afraid of covid. You can’t change this no matter what you do.
  15. I have one observation to make. Vaccinated people are often agressive in trying to convince unvaccinated people to go get a jab. It’s as if they are not sure they did the right thing and they want to feel better about themselves and more confident seeing their neighbor do the same as they did. Trying to search for confirmation of their action in others. I could understand it if vaccination prevented from spreading the disease to others, but nope, it doesn’t happen. Vaccinated people can spread infection to others just as well. Vaccination is thus an entirely personal act. This is not for society, this is for yourself (if you believe in the good of it).
  16. This means they rushed the approval, skipped years of studies. I will let you guys be lab mice. You can have my jab ???? Youtube, i only watch kittens there, never watched any covid stuff.
  17. I will let you guys take my share. Some people don’t find that much value in a physical life, and like to live dangerously ???? Mathematically, farangs have a shorter lifespan in Thailand than in their home countries, i haven’t seen that this fact stops anyone. It’s all about how advertised is the product. In this case fear is the product for consumption.
  18. I don’t think any of the vaccines available are approved for anything but emergency use, whatever it means. Normally it takes years of studies and observations. FDA in the US hasn’t approved them from what i read, not that i followed up on that but pretty sure they didn’t. It’s all a giant experiment, you can feel free to join it. I have confidence in my body’s power. Then again, i am not in one of vulnerable groups.
  19. I don’t believe there’s been a lot of planning put into any of this ???? But for now it looks like there is alignment of interests with retail business and this is good.
  20. Lol, i will take my chances. You can try fearmongering on someone else, covid has been a minor worry to me this whole time and it will stay this way.
  21. Thanks but no, thanks. I think i will learn me some Spanish and go check the Caribbeans, they are pretty relaxed there. Thailand will have to wait until next year.
  22. I’ve seen a lot of them here, every day. Also some members almost looked they wished the numbers were higher and looked disappointed to see numbers going down. Because their predictions went bust.
  23. Good, very good. Madness got to stop. Thailand is championing.
  24. Fear kills too, you know, by lowering immunity. Any stress does that, actually.
  25. Re: my bar not going to have a high season. I can skip another high season of bars and wait out for how these vaccinations play out. One day Thailand will open to unvaccinated tourists, i will get busy with other activities waiting for this madness to settle down. I’m sure i just had covid a month ago and i consider it silly to submit myself to the vaccination if i already have the natural immunity.
