Scabies
Concerning the sheets in my house... I plan to remove all bedding. Send to some cleaner that can wash and dry at over 50 degrees C, or discard, in fact. Then buy new bedding. The cost of bedding is NOTHING compared to the psychological hardship of being infested with a mite that is too small to see. A true hassle, is the scabies mite. The life cycle of the mite is such that one could move out of the house for a few days, a few weeks, and expect that all mites might be dead before one returns. There is much good info on the internet about scabies. If one has a partner, then both must be treated simultaneously. Fortunately, I live a alone. And, must just treat myself. (Physician, heal thyself!)

Scabies
No, you cannot have your five minutes back. You paid your time, and this is what you get. However, let me clarify: I am 99 percent sure that I have a case of scabies. Why, I do not know, since I lead a fairly solitary existence. My guess is that I contracted scabies, if I did, due to close contact with fomites. Last year, I visited a house, a dilapidated house, which seemed quite iffy. I was invited to sit in chair that was in complete disrepair, a chair that was covered with ragged cloth. A month later, I began to itch. My hands itched. My fingers itched. Looking back, this might have been my only contact with the scabies mite that I can think of. Also, as you might know, in some parts of Australia, scabies is treated with ivermectin. You can google this because I will not post the info here about that. These two topics from yesteryear are still VERY PERTINENT today. Scabies is not a thing that you might wish to contract, yet it is still just as pervasive as ever. Someday, I do hope that we can have a vaccine for scabies. Until that day arrives, next week, I will visit RAM Hospital, and then report back to you, without fail. So, then, please wait for my further update. I have no doubt that RAM Hospital, and the dermatologists there, will provide me with the very best, modern, and science-based treatment regimen. I have full confidence in RAM Hospital.... So, please, wait for my next update about my Scabies Saga... Tks!

Scabies?
Thanks for your caring, my friend. Not sure if I might have scabies or some other skin condition. Anyway, anytime I have any type of illness, I NEVER FOOL AROUND.... I just go to RAM Hospital to commune with the doctors there. I have no need to self-diagnose and self-treat. RAM is a very decent hospital that always provides me with excellent health care at a nominal cost. Tks for your input. Note: By the way, when I say I DO NOT FOOL AROUND....I am quoting Lead Belly. And Lead Belly was no fool: Hospitals here in Thailand are super cheap and rather high quality, as well. So.... Don't fool around.

Scabies
So true. And... Such a tragedy, one of many tragedies we must face in life. Scabies is no picnic, for sure. And, I just wonder what treatment the major hospitals resort to in Thailand. Time will tell, my friends.... If I have scabies, I will gladly keep you all updated. Scabies is NOT an STD, by the way. And so, I feel no stigma reporting should I be diagnosed with a mild case of scabies. The only good thing I can say is that.... There is no doubt that I did NOT....catch scabies from...anyone.... On TV. There is no doubt.

Scabies?
The WHO definitely swears by permethrin, as everybody knows.
-
Scabies?
OK. Tks! I will check it out and update you. Permethrin topical application is the accepted treatment for scabies, as you know. However, ivermectin (oral) is also sometimes used, even if it might not be FDA approved for this purpose in the USA. (Note: An old post, but still a goodie, for sure!)

Scabies?
What about now? Is Permethrin now available? Just asking.

Miicrowave Oven Repair in CM...Cheaper Options?
It's easy to calculate how much energy is needed to heat food or liquid. 800 watts is a very PUNY machine. I prefer a microwave that puts out at least 1200 watts. Also, re-heating a donut is not the same as cooking a turkey. The microwaves they sell in Thailand, most, are just too puny for me. Remember that one gram of water requires ...

Nipples: The Beauty of Them!; The Symbolism!
I already started a recent Topic promising a Frigid Cold Season in Thailand, this year. Seems to me that I was spot on in my prognostication. Enjoy your erections while ye may.

Ribbons In Their Hair!
My father's favorite car. He loved it. Very heavy. Needs the correct tires (tyres) however. Good leather.

Nipples: The Beauty of Them!; The Symbolism!
This Topic is about anything other than boobs. Please read the Topic. Did I mention the word boob, or the plural, boobs, even one time? No. I was talking ONLY of this Cruel world. The unfairness of it. The tragedies of it. And, I was speaking of the breast, and the nipple, as a source of sustenance in a world which is unfair, and uncaring, and RANDOM! The Creator cares NOT if you live or die, or how you die; or how you live, either! And, the only comfort you might find here in this world is sucking the nipple, And resting one's tired brow on some soft brown breast. Life is Cruel. Did you choose to be here? Or, did someone else choose for you? Either way... You are doomed in the end. And, even before the end, ... You are also doomed.

You, Sir, seem as if you are in complete denial about the state of the world, and life in general. Just my humble opinion.... Regards

Nipples: The Beauty of Them!; The Symbolism!
Dearest Friends, We come into this world with, mostly, nothing more than nipples on our minds. We spend our adult lives, most of us, thinking of nipples and breasts. We leave this word, wishing we had sucked even more nipples than we sucked. What do you think about the sucking of nipples in the great book: The Grapes of Wrath? This is a harsh world.... I wish it were not so. But, since it is... Thank the gods for the female breast... And nipples to suck. There is another quote which I have forgotten...one which uses well the word SUCK. I will add it later. The Grapes of Wrath is where it's at. "Here is a fruit for the crows to pluck For the rain to gather, for the wind to suck" Cruel world, my friends CRUEL World... Indeed! Life: Just one tragedy upon the next... Until the last tragedy provides the final respite. This is the way it is. Regards, Gamma

INTEL CORE I5-13500 2.5 GHz (SOCKET LGA 1700): What is the BEST/Low Cost Mainboard to match this CPU?
OK.. No need for especially large capacity storage. 1 TByte will do....

INTEL CORE I5-13500 2.5 GHz (SOCKET LGA 1700): What is the BEST/Low Cost Mainboard to match this CPU?
Most admittedly, I conflated and mixed up two separate questions: A. Concerning the onboard GPU of the 13500 CPU 1. Does the GPU access and take advantage of fast RAM (Main Memory) in some cases? 2. If so, then will fast RAM enhance the performance of the GPU on the Intel CPU? (ie..when using 4 monitors, etc...) B. Concerning SSD/storage memory attached to the PCIe Slot 1. If software programs and often-used data, are moved to the storage in the PCIe Slot...then will there be an improvement in speed of accessing and running these often-used software programs, due to faster access to data stored on the storage in the PCIe Slot? 2. Or, is SATA3 now so fast that there is very little speed gain achieved through the use of having storage memory installed in the PCIe Slot? Two unrelated questions.

INTEL CORE I5-13500 2.5 GHz (SOCKET LGA 1700): What is the BEST/Low Cost Mainboard to match this CPU?
Right. Unfortunately, I had not been clear in my comment above. I was not speaking about a "ram disk", per se....using a HDD or SSD. I was referring to this: Anyway...if using 16GB of main memory RAM... Then, presumably, the onboard GPU would use the RAM....in some cases. And, no SSD of any type would be used by the onboard GPU. (So...no point in mentioning SSD in this case....I guess.) To clarify the original question, then: IF the computer has 16GB of RAM (main memory), then will the GPU utilize this memory? Or, not? And, might faster RAM improve the performance of the Intel onboard GPU, if and when this RAM was accessed? I have no idea.
