JPMorgan
With a new UK government that seems committed to leaving the EU by October 31, we now believe that a no-deal Brexit is the most likely outcome. In this scenario, we expect the BoE to cut the bank rate 50bp by H1 20 and the currency to depreciate 9% on a NEER basis. Assuming this, we think a no-deal is fully priced into the inflation markets, well priced in equity, about 50% in credit, unevenly priced across rates, and moderately priced in equity derivatives.
FX Strategy: We forecast sterling falling to historic lows on a real trade-weighted basis, with GBPUSD as low as 1.09 and EURGBP rising to 0.99. Once the dust settles, however, we expect long-term bargain hunting and the reduction in uncertainty to lead to a partial rebound in GBP vs. the EUR.

Can anyone recommend a reliable company/person that does home a/c cleaning and repair service on the Dark Side (Maprachan area)?
it depends how many units. don't expect a service man to use more time travelling to and fro than servicing a single unit.

I would say, perfectly possible. An unpainted grey wall is about 10~15 degrees hotter than the same wall with white paint.
yawwnnnn... measuring the difference of wall temperature inside/outside is as irrelevant as are the reproductive organs of a nun who vowed eternal chastity. relevant is the difference of room temperature and outside temperature. if somebody claims this difference to be 4-5ºC at or after 12.00 noon then...

I always transfer the money from Norway using Danske Bank Norway in THB as this provides a better exchange rate than sending it in NOK to Bangkok Bank as the exchange rate here is worse.

My question is whether it is possible to get a better exchange rate by changing NOK to another currency and then changing that currency to THB. I realise that I could check this myself by going through all the currencies however I am wondering if there are any members that actually do this to try and get more THB.
this is a misconception as your NOK are not directly exchanged into THB but the "pair" rate USD/NOK is used to exchange into "pair" rate USD/THB, id est even if you ask your bank in Norway to exchange NOK into USD and transfer these USD to your Thai bank you won't notice any difference. sorry to disappoint you.

trees which shade roofs are rare and work only planted close to the home which is a dangerous undertaking.

no wind OK, but the whirly is still an exit for hot air in the roof space
"no breeze = insufficient air flow"

a whirly is easily installed in your corrugated sheets as it comes with a fiiting attachment. but as mentioned... no breeze = hardly any ventilation ventilation. airflow intake is required too!
the pictures show roof fans which to the best of my knowledge are not available in Thailand. i installed half a dozen temperature controlled in our Florida home.

the whirlies work only efficiently when driven by a breeze. no breeze means they even hamper attic ventilation.
Quotecommon long roofing sheets
= diificult to install a whirly.

Are you talking about attic vents or maybe putting a fan at the gable vent?
fan at gable vent. make sure there's enough intake on the other end. perhaps you have to make an intake in the eaves. your description is not clear.

the first step you need is not some tech rubbish² (designed by "thermophysical" ignorants as described above) but a proper ventilation (preferably forced) of your attic.

I have hay fever...I had a lot of explosive sneezes while recovering from my CABG x 4 surgery. I can’t imagine the process of dying hurting more. I survived the pain.... still here.
my experience after quadruple coronary and double aorta bypasses was extremely weak but hardly any pain. by the way, one of the five titanium clamps wiring my chestbone together opened but does not cause any problems.

same here. problem is will we have the mental as well as the physical ability to carry out what we planned without any third party assistance?
If we don't have the mental capacity, we won't care, will we?
wrong! i've seen my mother and my father suffering for months, being in hospitals wired and piped begging for ending it. but no euthanasy option in my home country. with IVs in both arms, a catheter up your pecker and your pampers full of it what actions are possible without a third party assisting?

I do fear the process of getting there. I really don't want to suffer. My exit strategy is planned and prepared, and I will be p***ed off if some circumstance prevents me from using it if necessary when the time comes.

Oban, Glenfiddich, Lagavulin, Talisker, Balvenie, Singleton, Glenlivet and many more. You will need to explore around and see what are your favorites. Depends on your taste buds and your budget. Most of them come with different versions like 8 YO, 12 YO, 15 YO.
more than 10 years ago i got a bottle of Lagavulin as a present. had one drink that tasted like battery acid. didn't touch that bottle again. will wait another 10 years maybe taste will improve.
