#1 - **** a Thai w**** in Thailand, but most definitely leave her in her own country. Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT export such goods to your own country for the sake of your health and finances..
-
How dare a farang make any bad comments about poor quality and service in Thailand.
There's plenty of other, more welcoming, (these days), countries to spend our hard earned wages in.

Perhaps a relative of a copper was driving the van.
T****r. Guess (s)he'll be off for a few Wais to ask Buddha for forgiveness, once his relative in the police has brushed it all under the carpet?
Q: What would happen if a farang hit n runs an ageing Thai resident?

So sad for Mme Delacott. RIP.
But hate to say it, this bears all the hallmarks of Thai lies and shenanigans to get their hands on Mme Delacott's money, gold and property assets regardless of Mme Delacott's situations in life of coping and dealing with divorce and cancer.

Says in the article, "most prominent values being respect, self-control, and a non-confrontational attitude"!
Lol!! Are they talking about a different country or race in the article??

Thai public now reaping the societal 'benefits' of what their government has sown by letting in Soviets.
Maybe they should start protesting at the government instead of giving out the constant, "Yais"?

so why didnt the girl walk away as thais dont like confrontation?..seems theres more to this...did she make him an offer?..she cant scream with tons of thai males around?...someone had to call the cops instead of asking a fellow thai for help...seems there is more to it.....and the latter of the quote..try finding thai cops on any other day sprint--or even show up after dark unless doing a dwi checkpoint to bribe cash..
and they just let a drunk man walk away to commit same offense....sounds like a ST proposition gone wrong in my 15 yrs exp in LOS
What Thais don't like confrontation???
News to me. My ex-wife was determined to have a fight or argument every day with someone, be it me, supervisor at work, her young daughter, work colleagues. Her temper could flare in an instant and it knew no bounds in terms of ferocity or violence.. she's an utter fruitcake..
(Footnote: Unsurprisingly, her daughter pre-teen is now following in the same mould of short fused temper and melodrama persona, and she's not even reached her teen years)!

Same here in the UK, Thais visiting on 6 month tourist visas, who are then illegally employed in a 'friend's from my village massage shop', or restaurant while sleeping on site in a private room.
Mind you, the UK Home Office is a shambles...

23 hours ago, Social Media said:A recent poll conducted by Survation suggests that Chancellor Rishi Sunak faces the risk of losing his seat in the upcoming general election, with the Conservative Party projected to have fewer than 100 Members of Parliament (MPs). The poll, which surveyed 15,000 individuals, indicates a significant loss for the Tories, particularly in Scotland and Wales, where they would be wiped out entirely, leaving only 98 seats in England.
Conversely, the Labour Party is predicted to achieve a landslide victory, securing 468 seats, with the Scottish National Party (SNP) gaining 41 seats, the Liberal Democrats 22 seats, and Plaid Cymru two seats.
This projection represents a substantial swing away from the Tories compared to the 2019 general election, where they won 365 seats. The poll also suggests a strong performance by Richard Tice's Reform UK party, which is forecasted to come second in seven seats and garner an overall vote share of 8.5 percent, trailing slightly behind the Liberal Democrats at 10.4 percent.
The study, commissioned by the pro-EU Best for Britain campaign group, indicates that several Cabinet ministers, including potential leadership contenders, could face defeat in the election. Commons leader Penny Mordaunt, Home Secretary James Cleverly, and Defence Secretary Grant Shapps are among those projected to lose their seats, based on constituency-level results.
However, Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch, former Home Secretary Suella Braverman, and ex-Immigration Minister Robert Jenrick are expected to retain their seats.
In Sunak's constituency of Richmond and Northallerton, traditionally a Conservative stronghold, he holds only a slim 2.4 percent lead over Labour. Similarly, Chancellor Jeremy Hunt faces a narrow one percent margin over the Liberal Democrats in his Godalming and Ash seat.
Best for Britain Chief Executive Naomi Smith characterized the polling results as indicative of a significant shift away from the Tories, suggesting that the upcoming election will be a "change election."
The poll was conducted between March 8-22 and involved 15,029 adults. Additionally, there are signs of Reform UK's growing influence, with Tory MP Bob Seely revealing that he had been approached to defect to the Nigel Farage-linked party, although he declined, citing his commitment to loyalty.

Pattaya — “Pattaya has already become a world-class destination and is poised for leaping growth in the next five years,” says Thai real estate industry leaders speaking at a seminar hosted by the Chonburi Real Estate Association.
The seminar, themed “Real Estate…Factors-Opportunities-Hopes of the Thai Economy,” was hosted recently, focusing on Pattaya’s growing appeal to both domestic and international tourists. The seminar saw the presence of numerous real estate leaders in Thailand, including Mr. Chanin Vanichwong, CEO of Habitat Group, who pointed out that “Pattaya is no longer just a domestic, budget nightlife destination, but it has already become a world-class destination.”For example, Mr. Chanin said many major Thai corporations have invested in Pattaya such as the Land & House Group that brought to the city projects like Terminal 21 Pattaya, and the Asset World Corporation that is expanding its hotel portfolio into the city. Central Group is also investing in a community mall project, and Magnolia Quality Development Corporation is undertaking a large-scale mix-use development.
Mr. Chanin further revealed that Habitat Group itself has been a key player in Pattaya’s growth. He explained that ten to twenty years ago, Pattaya was just a nightlife destination, surrounded by industrial estates but now the landscape has changed.
This transformation is evident in the rise of high-end tourism around the city. Areas like Na Jomtien now houses several hotels that are more than 20,000 baht per night, while the Wongamat area features condominiums valued at over 300,000 baht per square meter.

Culture??
Since when have Soviets understood culture?
Anything they've got their hands on since 1917 they've usually decimated or destroyed.
Thailand really is stooping so low these days that they'll be schmoozing up to the Afghan government's education, tourism and women's rights ministeries next!!

There's a lot of Thais, amongst many other nationalities working illegally here in the UK, without work permits, paid under minimum wage, housed for 'free' by business owners etc under the radar of incompetent border security and tracking of migrants.

But it's what the Thai woman who the farang marries believes, (and her family also believes and expects that this will and should happen).

That's a lovely story and an experience he can cherish and enthusiastically recount to his family, no doubt.

On March 7th, 2024, Mr. Chai Watcharong, the Thai Government spokesman, publicly stated details after a speech on The Amazing Thailand Networking Event with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Srettha Thavisin, to present tourism industry policies in Berlin, Germany.
According to Chai, Srettha exchanged opinions on the world stage regarding the potential for investment in Thailand, especially in the Thai tourism industry. The Thai government aimed to generate income from tourism in 2024 at an estimated 90 billion euros and anticipated more than 8.5 million tourists from the European region.Furthermore, the Thai government gave importance to the overall tourism industry which not only stimulated economic growth but also increased employment rates for Thai locals, remarked Chai. The Thai government planned to enhance and support the Thai tourism industry through various measures.
Visa exemption policies in various countries including India, Russia, Taiwan, and other countries, and the recent permanent visa exemption in China, would facilitate and make foreign tourists travel with ease, said Chai.

8.5 million tourists.
Does that include counting Soviets as Europeans?
8.5 million!! That's good revenue for the airlines with their inflated fares to BKK and PKT these days.

Blatant collusion between airlines happening to inflate air fares at yes the peak time of the year. (Recovering pandemic losses, oh yeah of course 🔔🔔)!! Why don't the family visit in Europe's school holidays? Weather's okay and flights are a lot cheaper, (circa £400 each on a direct flight route).
