I'm a beef massaman fan, and hard to find. MaeYa Rest @ UT had a nice version. Very good one recently at Ayutthaya / Aminah Halal Rest, and everything they served was excellent.

Couple decades of being single works also. 4 marriages & 2 live ins .... think I'd enjoy, need a little me time, if anything happened with present wife. Or quite happy to finish out my days, years with her. I'm easy ... ????

At 67 now, I don't think I'd be looking for another relationship, and simply enjoy being single again. No sense in starting something that won't last that long. I'm on borrowed time already.

Another way to search hotels along a route, though not nearly as many, would be using Booking.com, put in a date far ahead of your travel date for an area, then when results come, click on 'show on map'. As you go along the route, more hotels will appear. as you adjust the map/follow the route, more will appear, even outside the area you choose.

Easily to do on Gmap, whether laptop (easier) or the phone app. Put in your to & from, then on app hit search, choose or type 'hotels', pretty much the same on laptop. There are so many, you'll need to zoom in to certain area to see them. May need to use 'search this area' while doing, for more selection. Gmap is my primary research tool for trips. ex: Hua Hin to Kanchanaburi

She went all in, 1/4 rai & greenhouse, besides the plants around the house. Another reason why most of our O&As are during rainy season, no watering worries. She has a watering system in the green house. Also lucky and had a few bird nest with wee ones. Amazing how fast they hatch, then fly off.

Lucky you. All the birds around us, and everything else is too skittish, though the yard and garden lot is a bit small. Had more yard in last house, and only resident critters that let us get within 5M were a family of Golden Tree Snakes.

I easily get bored, and probably explained why I moved and lived in more than a few places back in the USA. Also my one of few, pet peeves about TH, damn small country. Explains whey I'm out & about quite a bit, compared to most. Enjoy being home and the area we live, but after a couple weeks, I'm planning the next O&A. Just got back from N, and already planning to visit the very southern provinces, as never been. After the wife is done, toying around the house and tending to the garden/greenhouse, we'll be O&A again.
