Didn't Mr.BIG order the Thai military to not back down at the border and that if any government official interferes they will be "severely punished"?.......The Orange-Man didn't get the memo that there is a greater power in Thai-Town that will trump all directives he brokers.

The order came down yesterday from Up High to...kick ass at the border and any government official stopping the offensive will be punished......Wow! 😯...Thai-patiences are finally fraying.

The hords have returned to Chiang Mai....I'm even seeing groups of cyclist every other day stopping for photo-ops in front of the rice paddy field next to my house and I live in Mae Rim...weird!

Absolutely...childhood obesity rates are through the roof here in Thailand. Interesting that in a country where accessibility to locally grown,nutritious and cheap food is available to everyone. Yet the tendency of the populace is to pay a higher price for junk & processed food choices. . ....Did I mention that processed food has addictive chemicals in it that tweeks the tongue-taste with the message of "tastes like more".....sure good for the 'poison for profit' business,right.

Put the shoe on the other foot....the mass Thai population grinding out a minimum wage of around 400b per,day....111b will get ya 2-large beers for happy-hour at the end of your 12hr day of being a company slave. I don't know what the relative valuation would be in the UK with their min.wage. The kid should of done a comparison in those terms instead of an advert on the giddy cost of Thai-junk food.

The other day I tried to send 20,000b from my home country account to my Thai account via Wise and it was going to take 7+ days to drop. I diverted to my wife's account and it took 8mins......can't help but wonder if this has something to do with taxation....?
