  1. Thanks for all your replies yes the challenge of finding a "quality tradesman " is a major concern the original driveway is pretty ordinary Tropposurfer, im also from Aus and quite familiar with the method of extending a concrete slab, done it quite a few times with great results, because it was done properly. in Melbourne we have Pebblemix, it would be the perfect solution, but alas nothing like that here. the patterns of the stamped concrete are rather garish at best, but there is one that resembles pitted bassalt which looks quite nice. its either that or painted yes its only a driveway, but its on show, so to speak...
  2. Have been given these 2 products i presume the bottle is a general plant food ? The Osmocote is suitable for what plants. Are either suitable for Bottle Palms, Yellow Palms, Foxtail Palms Thank You.
  3. Have had several large areas of grass laid about 4 weeks ago mostly looking lush apart from a few trouble spots its time for a feed, what easy to apply products do people use, bearing in mind its quite a large area, total 700 Sq M. Thanks.
  4. Have a concrete driveway already, but it needs to be enlarged, on both sides im being told that if i do stamped concrete over the old and new part, that the new part will subside , maybe only a little in spots , but enough to crack the stamped concrete. Any thoughts ? Or would i be better just painting the whole driveway with a purpose made concrete paint Any experiences with either appreciated...

  8. i am in the Hua Hin area, and need some nice looking established trees specifically for shading an outdoor seating / eating area, Not Palms, have plenty already i have been to a few local places that actually has established trees, even specimen trees including a quite big place on the bypass rd just south of Cha Am anything established is either huge or so devoid of canopy, or both that they are more than ugly Any suggestions as to where i might be able to find a decent range of trees in the areas mentioned Thanks. Possibly even something like this

  12. Having come from a country with an abundance of wood suitable for an outdoor brick design pizza oven, it seems there is little to be found here "Hua Hin" area and being new to charcoal cooking , is it a usable suitable fuel for a pizza oven ?? Thanks.
  13. Thanks all, ill stick with the brick concept, it worked before so,,, as for smoking food, i had 2 webers for 30 years and used a variety of wood chips, one of the best and cheapest was in fact apple tree wood, well aged and dried . it was wonderful...
  14. Thanks LA yes ive seen the Lazada offerings and right up to 120,000 baht for a what id call a pretty basic unit back home i had a fairly simple brick one that sat on a workable height brick supporting platform, cost less than $2000 " 50,000baht " wood fired, worked a treat.... as for a pizza stone, had one, used it twice, i dont want to use the indoor oven at all
