  1. I guess it's something like "This easy and sometimes fun activity, which is incredibly common and normal here, gets me pretty much free money (an incredibly important and almost fetishised thing to me) and, due to my culture, there are no negative consequences". Yes it is about culture. Whilst westerners furrow their brows about prostitution, and the mental negatives they presume invade the mind of 'the provider', Thai culture is different. TIT. When I once broached the subject with a very honest Thai girl she said "my pu**y doesn't care, it's like going for a pee and I get 1k baht" I was gobsmacked, but instantly educated!
  2. Love that statement - very true. I copped for a lass once in Pattaya for 'long-time' arrangement. A 'short time' later her phone goes and she answers it 'mid-stroke' Husband/Boyfriend says "falang not come yet?" - I did not, understandably, as he was just outside the door and knocking as he spoke. She left abruptly. I compensated her for her time nonetheless
  3. A bunch of my (first-timers) mates from UK are gagging to come in Feb22 but I have talked them out of it - too many uncertainties. "The sweetie shop and beaches will still be there later next year" I told them. Save more dosh, you'll need it as a first timer lol. Study the Thai seasons/weather if you want to 'go walking' it's not Blighty
  4. Craigie, as things stand you would need to quarantine in a hotel (aka Prison) for 7 days on arrival in Thailand, unless you go to Phuket-Sandbox, where you can travel the island freely and after 7 days you can go anywhere in Thailand (CovTest depending) If you only have 14 days hol Phuket is best option. If you have much longer hols and like prison food; see above recommendations
  5. Hi All, newbie here. A 12-time '2-week millionaire' lol, considering long term visit/residence in 22/23
