you need to check the Foreign trade barriers to see the REAL DATA! It seems the Average rate in Thailand was 9.8% in 2023 !! Only trade deficit was 72% So US will tax 36% incoming goods, which is way more than 9.8 % Thailand apply for import!!

but only to me this way of calculation base on trades deficit makes no sense? One country could even apply 0% import duty to US products, but not buy much because not interested. But sell a lot because for example US need clothing. You will still be taxed 30/40/50% because of you sell much more than you import.
