Krungsri Interest Rates
Ste78 replied to Foxx's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
a few month ago I blocked some money into "fixed normal account" for 4y: do you know if possible to cancel (even losing all interests) and get money back? -
same as always, it's personal; actually I live much more the appearance of Neta compared to MG4, so what? If Neta is that ugly, horrible inside and low performing, why matched MG in 2024? cannot say only because of the price Even more than AION or Ora good cat (that for me is the most horrible ahah)

Thailand's Auto Production at Lowest Level Since 2021 Pandemic
Ste78 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
"electric vehicles are still expensive, whereas ICE ones aren't" actually I think it's the opposite. 1.5 years ago I bought NETA which I paid less than a similar ICE vechicle. Cheaper regular service and 4x saving considering electricity/petrol price and fuel consumption 15km/l buying now a 2nd hand car is even better for buyer because pay only half price for a 1y old car! -
Nightly Merry-Making at Pattaya Beach Challenges Law Enforcement
Ste78 replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
compared to years ago, they have nice a large beach: not used during the day because too hot/sunny cannot be used at night?! so what's the point? -
hello, you please explain this ? "As an EU citizen, I am entitled to the EU health insurance which repatriate me in case of an accident. If I have an accident or need hosptal care, but can not be transported, the EU healthcare will sponsor my hospital bill." normal EU heathcare support during your stay in Thailand?! so all turists from EU pay travel insurance for nothing?

Airfrance or KLM you can buy without a baggage then add maybe only one for group for around 130 euro.

Hello, last year I bought a 2nd hand OLED switch with Tinfoil installed. Since it doesn't turn on, do you know any place for repairing in Pattaya? (Tukcom cannot) thanks

they eat 3 fried meals a day, with sugar drinks, then take motorbike to go to a shop only 50m away. No wonder most of ladies over 30yo are fat; also some children a so overweight that I wonder why they don't notice and take actions

annual premium 12.5k THB for death coverage 100k THB. now you see the low amount, it sound even more ridicolous that they made to me for 10x more, and not to her (which is my wife anyway..)

she explained in details what was the BMI result and the normal range. Actually she even offered to go together to the hospital for a visit, very kind.
-
So the life insurance for my thai lady was not approved because of BMI out of target. She is 158cm 43kg... meaning underweight. So my understanding was wrong about this being a correct proportion. Instead seems it could be compliant if 158x 60kg...which to me seems chubby, not saying fat!

https://s.lazada.co.th/s.JQNPp you may be right about efficiency or the need to verify in person. I just picked up the first results on Lazada -
Solar panels to charge EV directly?
Ste78 replied to Ste78's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
1000w for 1470b, one of the first results on Lazada. Thanks for clarify that 1kW panel makes 3-4kWh per day, I am not an expert. So I can buy 2, still save the money in a few months. -
Solar panels to charge EV directly?
Ste78 replied to Ste78's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
60km I think is around 8Kwh consumption (~35b /day, 1000b /month). With 1 panel 1000W costing 1500b, chargin 8Kwh would not take 8 hours? Even if I not spend much money, those 1500b could be saved in one and a half months. Or you meaning other equipment is necessary? -
Hello, I drive 60km a day and my EV car is always at home during the day; usually charged with the normal slow cable (cannot install wall charger since I am renting the house), not a problem leaving connected many hours. Cost per month is quite limited, but I was wondering if I can charge using the daylight: would it be possible to install some solar panels to plug to the car "directly",or need inverter / battery / others? I mean using the real time output, no need storage for using electricity for house. Any advise is appreciated

Hello, I've got a Thai license and in case I can get international driving licens. I plan to drive my company car to Cambodia border, then rent a car for driving around there. I checked on google but cannot find rent-a-car, any suggestion? I could book a taxi or car with driver, but that would be complicated for the driver to spend many days with us... and they drive like crazy Thanks

yes that is indeed the sentence I marked in Red. In Green they said later "Once EV buyers .... can submit a request to the manufacturer to claim the subsidy". It makes no sense, that might be a translaction issue

Hello, I just found this article on Bangkok Post https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/motoring/2871632/cabinet-allots-b7-12bn-for-ev-subsidies "Under the EV 3.0 promotion (first phase), the Excise Department provided subsidies of up to 150,000 baht for EVs .... The government disburses these subsidies directly to car manufacturers. Once EV buyers register their vehicles, they can submit a request to the manufacturer to claim the subsidy." I bought Neta V last year and I thought this discout was included in the final price (around 580,000 b). Do you think I get 150,000 baht back ?! This is actually question for all the people who bought EV last year..
