  1. Great comfort in eating animals more like, they are not animal lovers. Dogs are indulged for reasons that cannot be gone into, especially soi dogs but normally animals are treated very badly here. Family member is involved in transporting pigs, last trip 4 died due to over crowding on the lorry. Cock fighting, bird and turtle trapping for 'merit', appalling practices in abattoirs and parts of markets looking like a slaughter house don't seem very caring to me. Most Thais can't even look after dogs properly.
  2. No, they are the ass holes of the earth and it would be a better place without them
  3. Friend in the UK used to process asylum claims 20 years ago. She said 95% are liars with made up stories which were mostly all the same and almost impossible to verify. The men usually claimed their life's were at risk and the women it was risk of rape, also they usually threw away passports and documents to claim they were from other countries than their own. Looks like the UK and Ireland are still falling for it. Who on earth is going to tick yes to have you ever been a terrorist, laughable.
  4. Nobody claimed what you describe is illegal. It's bribing an official to ignore the lack of funds and getting an extension from a province you do not live in which is. Latest prosecution of officers for illegal procurement of visas is ongoing, involving over 100 immigration officials. If that is not evidence I don't know what is.
  5. The issue is some of them are corrupt and some people give into it. They are quite well paid, have a job for life and early retirement on good pensions, don't pay the leeches next time
  6. Samut Prakan? I still keep it in 3 months before after hearing about them sticking to 3 months and refusing extensions. Showing them their own rules usually gets the blank ignore look.
  7. Posted this before, sister in law lives on a nice Sansiri estate in Bkk. All was well until somebody moved in the next soi with over 30 dogs, the racket is horrendous. Claims it's his right to have as many as he wants. Sansiri have plenty of rules but he still has the dogs.
  8. Not on me they don't, I hate all dogs. Love cats though.
  9. It's not essential to get along with dogs here, why should you. Don't have any interaction with these mutts at all, and if they try it on with you whip out an expandable metal rod to correct them with.
  10. Lots of people do not like dogs, that does not make them sad. I'm sad when I go into somebodies house and they jump all over you, filthy, drooling flea bags.
  11. It's one of the offices up country agents in Bkk get extensions from- whatever province you live in. People getting away with it does not mean it's legal, or it will go on for ever.
  12. Just saw this, Ireland is just as crazy as the UK when it comes to letting in people like this thug
  13. Yes the taxis are fine, it's the drivers who are the problem, no meter, no go, finish work etc etc
  14. It's horrible. when inside the departure lounge there are no toilets and getting out again when checked in at the desk, seems to involve endless key tapping and they don't like it, have to be checked in again coming back in. Waited 35 mins on the boarding bridge in a sweaty crowd waiting for them to open the doors, cleaning probably, this was Qatar. Will go direct next time and avoid this place. I noticed how ridiculous the security is, foreigners having to remove masks to check passports, arab woman straight through, even worse not even having passports looked at all as held by the men they are with.
  15. But Thailand does not do asylum seekers, send the draft dodgers home when the visa extensions run out like everyone else.
  16. I would not call that photo a pick up truck, more like a troop carrier
  17. Paul and Harry did a few of these
  18. Use a VPN logged into an Aus server
  19. I don't love the nasty things, lots of people feel the same way. Thailand needs search and destroy teams, counted 5 dogs just around the local 7/11 door the other day.
  20. I'd say Nigel knows what he's on about, very interesting.
  21. Yes abused far too much in the past, or Wallen visa mill in Bangkok might still be around ????
