Of course we did not torture this guy. Now shut up about it before we sue you!

Why have a crackdown for a "unspecified amount of time"? Why not just enforce all the laws all the time? As soon as the crackdown ends they are just going to go back to driving the way they were before.

With all the bad and negative news that we see about Thailand, it is nice to be reminded that there are good and decent people here still.

Not one baht of his own money will be used to pay any compensation. He is just going to pass his bucket asking his so called followers for donations.

So let me see if I got this right. Get beaten up and have your wallet & passport stolen. You report it to the police. Then one of the guys that beat you up, returns your stuff to the police. And now the police do not want to do anything, because this guy at least returned your passport & wallet (minus most of your money). What is the point of even having a police force if they are too lazy to do anything??

What kind of helmet are you going to get for 99 baht? A baseball cap cost more than that

What kind of results do you expect to get when you have a no-fail school system? Now was the test too difficult for the students or were the students not smart enough for the test? If I read the article right, this was an advance placement test.

As an ex-military general he is just not used to any one questioning him. Nor is he very good at taking any kind of criticism. He is used to everybody doing what they are told because he said so. Does not make a good leader of any country. He might of been a good general, but you are not in the army any more

Hi Lostinisaan,
Got a good look at the blade and it is most likely shot. The repairs/welds they did in Si Saket are coming loose. Was not too impressed with it when they did it. So that need replaced for sure. The crank seems to be spinning straight on the bottom side but there is a strange wobble on the topside where the pull start is. Thats about all I can tell you except I probably need a new spark plug too. HD

Hi Lostinisaan,
Thanks for the offer. Right now the plan is my father-in-law is going to drop it off at Ruangsangthai on his way back to Bangkok tomorrow. Will see what happens after that. Thanks HD
If the crankshaft isn't damaged, not a big deal. The knives have to be balanced and that's very easy with a "Flex". You can hold the knives with a finger ( where it's attached with a screw and check where you've got more mass. Then take some off at this side with the machine.
You can easily check if the crankshaft is damaged by taking out the spark plug and then turning the crankshaft.[/quote
Will check the crank this afternoon before I send it to Buri Ram. The last time I had it running it was really shaking

I guess that after being chased away from the border market, the police had to do something to pump their ego's back up

Hi Kamalabob2,
Thanks for the info. That looks like my best option so far. Took it to a shop in Si Saket and they took one look at it and said no can. Thanks HD
If you're still having problems, please page me. I can take a look at it and can tell you for sure what's wrong. And how to get it fixed.

If the rest of the world can not figure out who these guys are, what makes the Thai police think that they can?

What happen to, we have no money to buy rubber? Or if we start helping/subsidizing one group of farmers, we will have to help all the farmers?
-
Not too happy about that. But thanks for the info

The government is not doing a very good job at keeping the calenders from being distributed. I am a long way from either Roi Et or Khon Kaen and much to my surprise saw one of the calenders while taking the kids to school

Now wouldn't the release of a candidates criminal record be a huge loss of face? And we can not have that. So probably not going to happen
-
Of course not. Why would they do that?

Since when, did not having a driver licences stop anyone from driving in Thailand?

No one will know unless you name and shame and say where the tournament took place.
My only other comments................TIT................but not usually as blatent..........What an <deleted>............100%.
The tournament took place in one of the local villages outside of Khu khan, Si Saket. No need to name & shame because everybody out here knows who & where he lives. I have a feeling things will be taken care of & justice will be served

We are finishing up a 2 day football tournament only to have the sponsor cancel the final games due to darkness. I watch these kids play their heart and souls out. These kids & young adults were playing for bragging rights & cash. 50,000 & 60,000 baht depending on the age. We were down to the final 4 for the 20+ men and the final 2 for 15-18 boys & girls. They had even set up lights around the field so they could finish. The sponsor then that announce it was too dark & that he was going to give the final teams 5000 baht for competing. Everybody knows who this guy (so need to name & shame). Plus I found out the team he sponsored was eliminated yesterday. I really feel sorry for all the kids that tried their best only some jerk run away with all the prizes

Fine idea, but do they even have enough jail space for everybody they would catch?

Easy come and easy go. She is just pissed off that he shorted her before she could short him. She will find someone else soon enough.
