  1. I think the consensus of opinion is that back to back visa exempt entries raise eyebrows at airports so three in a row is pushing your luck. Land border crossings ( Max. of two in any calendar year ) are a safer option I believe.
  2. My condolences. I am not a doctor, however, perhaps you should consider having Paxlovid on standby in addition to a full course of vaccination in the event you come down with a sniffle since you seem genetically vulnerable to respiratory viruses. Consult a medical professional.
  3. Sorry to hear that. Keep your vaccination schedule up to date.
  4. I agree but you get my drift.
  5. As far as I know they haven't announced any changes to the entry requirement criteria so I assume it is business as usual until further notice.
  6. That's not a very high bar considering most people don't even realise they have Omicron until some wise guy sticks a swab up their nose.
  7. You can say that again. It would be interesting to hear from anyone who has obtained a tourist visa for Thailand in Penang recently. I assume the Consulate there is still issuing them .
  8. Ok. Proof of vaccination or a negative test still required on international flights then.
  9. You mean like this ?
  10. Yes and No. I believe you need to keep 800k in your bank account for two months before and three months after the 12 month non O visa extension date and then the remainder of the year 400k. So you have a 7 month window to spend 400k of it before you would need to top it up again two months before the renewal date.
  11. No, I was just adding some historical context but thank you for reminding me.
  12. However, I believe Louis XIV of France remains the longest-reigning monarch, with a 72-year and 110-day reign from 1643 until 1715. Not that it matters.
  13. The BBC don't suspend normal programming willy nilly. Something seems imminent.
  14. https://onwardticket.com/
  15. Not really.
  16. I purchased 100g savlon from my local Asda in the UK recently and it cost me £3.50 or approx 150 Baht so they are making a massive mark up on that one.
  17. So you applied for your tourist visa online but you still have to go to the Consulate and complete an application form. Don't you get the visa by email ?
  18. For anyone struggling with the e-visa application here's a 20 minute tutorial that I thought was very good. I have to say I'm still not keen on it though and will do my best to avoid all the photo copying, jpeging and uploading. I much prefer going to a Consulate and applying in person but I suppose those days are gone.
  19. Malaysia recently dropped all their testing and entry requirements too.
  20. Difficult to imagine why anyone would need a date rape drug in Thailand. It's harder not to get laid.
