I posted a picture of my 2 year old hiso Bangkok condo in another thread. Condo warranty is non existent in Thailand. Insurance does not cover or will cover only cosmetic issues (think water pipe burst, they will pay to paint the wall). Good luck with your investment.

258 a month at 60 is a normal price in Thailand for a so-so coverage, Healthcare in Thailand is not cheap and is certainly more expensive than a private healthcare in some European countries.

There are a few things missing in this article if you don't watch Thai news. She shooter is "important" person hence the reason why the name is not released. The resort owner just opened after a long covid shutdown. He had to close and refund 500,000 baht to customers because of this incident. Oh well....

Absolutely the gold standard now unless you are buying Shangri la I guess. My wife asked some of her friends in real estate about this. The reason is the materials and quality of construction are worse than ever. The absolute rock bottom is being used. As for buying the older developments Thai are experts in beautifying the ugly things. As a matter of fact I'm about to do the same with this wall. Insurance is refusing to pay for it and address the root problem. So I'll just mask the problem and sell it to the next.... preferably Farang sucker. Before and after pictures coming soon.

You can always buy it and sell it in a few years for a 30% loss.
