Yes price now is high just because they can. Production cost isn't as high as other are implying either. Even for a relatively small indoor grow, you can grow your own premium bud with costs of less then 50 baht/gram when all is done. This includes the power bill, nutes and all. If you are growing and it costed you 200 baht per gram you grow, you have no idea what you are doing lol. I personally think that in 6 months to a year, it will be hard for people to sell weed at 350+ per gram (except on tourist areas I guess) because production cost really isn't high, and the imported weed from Canada/USA is extremely cheap for premium bud.

Personally I would just buy on shopee. Figure out what light you want and buy on there. Mars hydro is good and price is reasonable. I can find much for spider farmer but I will be ordering some direct from china for my tents

Lol that letter is hilarious. Like international drug smugglers have ever cared about local farmers profits. Also sidenote in Canada now, you can get really good weed for 15,000-20,000 baht/pound (~35 baht/gram) on the black market (in stores it's cheap too now, not just black market). This is the stuff they are selling for 300-600/gram in Thailand. The premium AAAA weed in Canada is about 35,000-40,000 baht per pound. (~80 baht/gram). This is the stuff they are trying to sell for 600-800/gram here. Maybe she should be begging her government to not allow importing marijuana instead hey? (Yes I know people would still do it illegally, but it would maybe stop the big importers a bit)

There's also a bunch on shopee and Lazada but are quite expensive. Best is to build you own so it can fit your grow space best. Will also be less then half the cost of these premade systems. The problem I am having is finding good net pots for dwc buckets. Also slightly worried about what the water temp will be, and being ready to install a chiller if too high.
