I know Thais don't treat their pets as we do in the West; some people are ruthless. We have a member in our family who has 2 cats locked up in small cages for hours on end, and when they are allowed out of the cage, they get put on leashes tied up on poles. They have no freedom at all. I am not a cat person; I love small dogs, but when I complain about the treatment I get, I am told, "You are Farang, you know nothing." Are all Thais like that?
