  1. Anyone know a good abortion clinic? There was a very goon one in Samut Prakan that I used a couple of times that was better than the Australian clinics in my opinion. But unfortunately it closed during covid and never re opened. Happy to travel anywhere for a good one. Cost isnt an issue.
  2. Gee this one is badly written. The "Thai wife" makes it sound like a foreigner husband. But he was also Thai. RIP Joker
  3. True, but most are cottoning on now. High grade is available cheaply on the internet now. Supply over the next few months will totally outstrip demand.
  4. How do I apply for the vacant position? The prestige of it. His look does fit the mould of the typical Uk expat in Pattaya IMO. Thanks for all your hard work Bert. You will be missed dearly.
  5. Where was Prawit campaigning on the weekend?
  6. The extended family were not selling it. They all worked on an orange and coffee plantation. But they set me up with some other people who could. A few of the family used it every now and then, and since they were feeding me I was more than happy to share. One Tai Yai chicken dish was awesome. I went to funeral and there was a bowl of it for everyone to help themselves.
  7. Rubbish 15 baht per gram, soon to be much cheaper. The Thais dont buy their weed from shops aimed at tourists. Those shops will go under soon.
  8. Probably the most naive comment I have ever read here. Firstly because of legalization the price now is much cheaper to buy. So with all the money they are saving they will now be able to buy a house. Secondly, they allow you to grow it now, over one million people have applied for growing permits, so those people can grow their own and with all the money saved they can buy an property portfolio. Beer is more expensive in Thailand. Fresh coffee is more expensive in Thailand. "the only Thais that will be buying coffee will be those complaing later in life they regret not buying a house and wasting their money on coffee. You can buy weed for 15 baht a gram on facebook. with the first legal outdoor crop budding now it will soon be even cheaper.
  9. A Russian and a Frenchman ran into each other. Lets blame the Thais.
  10. Mike, it isnt them that is clueless. This piece has been translated from months old Thai news. The direction issued was for Thai tourists returning from other countries. It has been a problem for a while. Really, how many farang tourists would bother bringing their own fruit? The translater left out that information and it has got you all worked up. Calm down, Happy New Year. https://www.khaosod.co.th/economics/news_7361767
  11. And we will continue to do so. But we also do a lot of good also.
  12. They are talking about Thai tourists bringing fruit back in after touring other countries. Calm down. This isnt about "farang victimisation". Months old news anyway. https://www.khaosod.co.th/economics/news_7361767
  13. Have you got a link of a Thai person actually saying their are no sex workers in Thailand?
  14. Thanks for that update. One of my Tai Yai lovers plied me with opium (fin) and during an extended love making session talked me into driving her to the Immigration Office, which obviously a Thai citzen would have no reason to. She was born in Thailand. She had a pink ID card and was not allowed to travel with me to other provinces. I am glad things have improved for them. Top people.
  15. Nah mate. Thanks for the heads up.
  16. Yesterday there was a story about a Swedish bloke getting thrown in a ditch by three Tai Yai kids. Some of our bar stool posters who predictably rant about Thais jumped on this and seem to be confused. Tai Yai are a seperate ethnic group with no home country and as such are spread throughout Laos, Northern Thailand, Southern China and Myanmar. They have their own cuisine, traditions, culture, language, dance, music etc. They are not Thai. Even if they are born in Thailand they dont recieve a Thai ID card, but get a special one. They are also restricted like other foreigners in what jobs they are allowed to do and even travelling to other parts of Thailand is restricted. They are nice people. Below I have provided an educational video for those who dont know the difference. Tai Yai women are very skilled at lovemaking from my experience with not a feminist bone in their bodies.
  17. Harden up mate. And i have told you a million times before to not exaggerate.
  18. Not really, junky usually refers to addicted people who inject. I was just blending in with the locals culture. Their language is similar to Thai, and they can mostly speakThai so it was easy for me. That you had never heard of Tai Yai people before doesnt surprise me. You wouldnt be able to tell the difference even if you met one. Go and have a beer.
