    Well, I watched a webinar with Carl Turner. He got with him 3 Thai experts. If you have a low income in 2024 you don't need to have a tax ID and don't need to fill in the tax form. Also it only considers the income remitted to Thailand.

    As I said in my case it was 25%. The better way if you want to trade in your old car: ask them how much you have to pay. Example: new car is for 870 t Baht and old is for 320 t Baht. Difference is 550. Then offer 500. (or less) Worked for me once.

    I didn't answer to a Pajero in particular. But when I traded in my car for a new one the price for my old one was exorbitant high. The purchase price for the buyer when he bought my old car.....was cut to 75% of the "on sale" price.

    That's wrong what you write. The tax office accept eg your bank statement in Thai or English. A certified translation of supporting documents is not required.

    I went today to the tax office and collected attached forms. It was interesting that the Lady was surprised to see me. Though I can understand it was about paying taxes. The day before she explained that explicit "state" pensions are tax-free, but "private" pensions are taxable. Chiang Mai.

    Even they would it's not easy if you compare the air quality(not only 2.5pm) in neighbouring countries. Btw, the govt is willing, starting in BKK probably.
