When I stop for a coffee I will think of you eating canned tuna and wishing you could go.

    What did I miss?

This thread has degenerated into a biggest d*** contest?

A lot of Thais have less than me. I don't look down on them. That's their life.

And a lot of them are super nice, despite having next to nothing.

Meanwhile some rick folks are so obnoxious you can't tolerate them for more than 5 minutes.

People should be judged on their personality, not wealth or status.

And no need to look down on people with less or be envious with people with more.

There is no such thing as "equality". Everyone around you either has less or more. And so what? Just get on with your life and do the best you can with your life.

What was the point of this thread exactly?

  2. I wouldn't take melatonin every night.

I don't think it's healthy. I was taking it for a few weeks and I started feeling off.

I haven't found any solutions for sleep.

Except anything that will calm the nerves like chamomile tea before bed.

But that might only help a little, and not everyone can't sleep due to anxiety.

My guess is you are not working 9 to 5 like you used to, so your body simply isn't getting tired as much and you don't really need that much sleep.

Some nights when I can't sleep, I usually nap during the day.

Exercise might help because it tires out the body and the body needs more recovery. Walking, and lifting weights. but those are major lifestyle changes ...

Also, getting sunshine in the morning. Go out for a morning walk. When you expose your eyes to sunlight in the morning, it helps regulate the body's circadian rhythm.

And go to bed at the same time every night.

The body is self-healing all the time.

No, not in all cases. Obviously, your diet will help a lot.

Yeah, if you have a flu you can rest and eat chicken soup. But companies dont like giving people time off from work, so we used anti-biotics to treat the flu to speed up the healing process and get people back to work.

Need some external things to help tweak the body in most cases.

But before Big Pharma, people got creative with what was around them.

And some natural substances and herbs can often help (ie stuff found in iHerb).

    I have an eye problem.

I already tried a normal doctor and took drops for 6 months.

    Problem still not fixed.

Now I am researching some things I can try on my own.

If I can't sort it out, will need to go back to hospital.

But I don't fully trust their protocols or medicines all the time.

But problem will not resolve itself ever. Might get worse if I can't figure it out.

They don't understand what's unhealthy, i ask them, they often think rice, when they've been slim for 1000 years on rice.

Obesity and 7 Eleven growth probably very similar on a graph

Dave Asprey explains why people get fat.

Bad fats (ie unhealthy fats) destroy cells in the body. Then the body is no longer able to process the carbs such as rice and this leads to obesity and diabetes.

So it's not the rice that's the root cause of the problem.

But people go on Keto because their bodies can no longer process carbs.

But keto is not ideal either.

Yet Japan probably has more convenience stores than anywhere else in Asia, and plenty of grocery stores packed into its dense urban areas.

American guy living in Japan did a video about why Japanese are so thin.

One reason is even in their 7-11s, there is a good variety of fairly healthy foods.

Healthy food options are readily available everywhere.
