Golly, didn't know the Triads were in that deep. I just hope one of the Triad lads on the special immigration visa doesn't open up a soup stall in my neighborhood. I like Khun Pu's soup and she doesn't have fire insurance. I'll have to ask her if the protection money she gives to the RTP mafia covers this.

Googled it: In codifying the "consular functions" principle, the Vienna Convention maintained the basic difference between consular and diplomatic' 6 immunities: "consular personnel enjoy immunity from legal process only in respect of official acts, whereas diplomatic agents have full personal inviolability and immunity from ... Seems no immunity for colluding with creepy Chinese Triad pukes.

Western Brands Cut Quality For Thai market
ignore it replied to Brewster67's topic in General Topics
Either they know y'all like like strong tea, lots of sardines in the can, Euro chocolate and toothpaste, big condoms etc and they like to mess with your happiness. Or Product differentiation is a way for products and brands to command market share based on consumer preferences. Lipton's, the sardine canners, chocolate and toothpaste and condom makers, ect. have marketing MBAs probably that determined through focus groups etc. that the Thai market prefers weaker bag tea than other market and other manufacturers the same. So y'all don't buy enough to count. And have a little sympathy for Thai guys buying rubbers in the West. -

Yeah. Body Cams. It is amazing that despite a tremendous opportunity for graft, bid fixing and other forms of corruption there seems to be resistance to them. -

Police Certain Tu Hao’s Wife, Other Suspects Intimidating Witnesses
ignore it replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Just amazing that allegedly totally corrupt Triad linked officials would allegedly attempt to intimidate witnesses while out on bail. In China they would probably just snuff them. In an unrelated matter. It's 3 years, 5 months and 19 days since Jeffery Epstein committed suicide. -
