SETV in Vientiane after long stay in Thailand.
ketilnm replied to ketilnm's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes you are right, the flights from Vientiane to Chiang mai are not direct, they will stop at Don mueang, and maby i will have to go through immigration there, witch is not a good thing, compered to immigration at Chiang mai airport.. Luang Prabang does have direct flight to Chiang mai, so then maby a better choice. -

ketilnm replied to ketilnm's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thanks for reply. So if they send me back to Laos, would i be able to fly into Suvarnabhumi, and just be in transit there? not enter Thailand, just stay at the airport for catch a plane back to Norway? As there are not much international planes out of Laos. -

Thanks for all your help. But for worst case scenario.. If my SETV gets rejected. Then i will try to fly from Vientiane to Chiang Mai. Visa Exempt. If that also get rejected at Chiang Mai airport, what will the do with me? Will i be able to fly to Suvarnabhumi, for get a plane back to my country, Norway? -

I have been in Thailand for 1 year and 5 months. Visa history: Came on tourist visa, then covid extensions X3, after that land border visa exempt to Cambodia, (2 times in 2022 and 2 times in 2023) with extensions. So now i dont have so many options, i will try to get a SETV in Vientiane. I will use the land crossing, via the friendship brige. Do you guys think this will work, as long as i meet the requirements? I already have booked an appointment at the embassy. Thanks.

Getting a tourist visa
ketilnm replied to Druidian's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If i go to Vientiane and get a single entry tourist visa, can i come back to Thailand over the friendship brige? Or is that crossing only possible with a visa exempt? Thanks -
They can not get in true the aircon, that system has a filter. They get in when you open the doors, or windows.

Well i agree with you up to a point, its better for self confidense and as a man we like the "Chase" of the girl, so in that sence it feels better to not pay directly for sex. However as a man, either in Thailand, Norway or America you always end up paying for a girl in one way or another, if its taking her on a date and pay for everything, or just pay for sex direct.

Ok, so i dont know what type of job he was looking for, anyways, fathers have are allowed holidays too, but if you are a father you have to think about your responsebilty in life and not put yourself in dangerus situations like drunk driving in Thailand. So all my point are valid, i dont know why you defending his actions.

Offcorse that is relevant, the guy has 5 children, so they going to grow up without a father, becouse his "chasing his dreams" Drunk driving, on the phone, no helmet, no insurence, in a country with one of the highest death rate on the roads. Divorced or not, you have responsibility as a father. And looking for a job in Thailand? So teaching english making 30,000 baht a month, thats going to help suport his 5 children.. Please.

Wife Drove Over Neighbour's Dog
ketilnm replied to Brewster67's topic in Plants, Pets & Vets in Thailand
MAN UP? Man up and driver over a innocent animal? You call that a man? You must be realy realy stupid. Man up would be to avoid the dog, go and confront the owner and tell them to take better care of there dogs. The kind of logic on some of you people..???? -
Manual of Honda Click 160i ABS available in English?
ketilnm replied to Flying Saucage's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
The thing is, the abs version of the click 160 has disc break in the rear, (Witch is better then drum break) and in the front the disc is alot bigger then the disc on the non abs version.. The caliper may be diffrent too, i can not say for sure, but it has a diffrent color then the non abs version. I can not say for the click 160 non abs version, but i did have the click 150, and the breaks was not good. (Non abs and drum in the rear) Now i own a adv 150, (abs in front and disc in the rear) And the breaks are night and day compare to the click 150.. -
Have to update TM30 after border run?
ketilnm replied to zekelin's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If you get a visa exemption 45 days, you need to do new tm30 yes. I did not do this after my visa run to Cambodia in september, and when i went to the immigration for extend my stay with 30 days, i had to pay a fine of 1600 baht for not make a tm30. How did the visa run go? Did you go by yourself? What border crossing?
