  1. So the press only support Hamas, and Israeli press is totally unbiased, I'd have thought if Israel had nothing to hide they'd welcome the scrutiny but as most people know that's untrue especially where Palestinian prisoners are concerned.
  2. Like the IDF did when they executed people in their hospital beds dressed as medics. Bet the ICJ/ICC loved that one.
  3. More than 50 tenured journalism professors from top universities have signed a letter calling on the New York Times to address questions about a major investigative report that described a “pattern of gender-based violence” in the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel. The letter follows months of criticism and concerns raised by outside critics as well as some Times staffers about the credibility of its sourcing and the editorial process for the story. The letter, signed by professors at colleges including New York University, the University of Pennsylvania, Emory and the University of Texas, asks the Times to “immediately commission a group of journalism experts to conduct a thorough and full independent review of the reporting, editing and publishing processes for this story and release a report of the findings.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/style/media/2024/04/29/new-york-times-oct-7-journalism-professors-letter/
  4. Fantastic, you found something that has absolutely nothing to do with my point/post. "Anything that comes from Israel media, is propaganda as it isn't verifiable by international media.""
  5. All from the Israel Times, a totally viable source, of course it is if you only want the Israeli view. If the International media in Israel reports anything it has to be vetted first, or they can't report it, never mind about the situation in Gaza Politicians have significant influence over appointments to the broadcasting regulatory bodies. Channel 14 is known to provide very favourable coverage of the prime minister, with few critical voices. Since the start of the war with Hamas, a majority of the media has increasingly relayed the government’s propaganda in favour of the war, and critical voices find it difficult to be heard. Coverage of the war in Gaza has been seriously hindered, as only journalists embedded with the IDF are allowed to enter the enclave. https://rsf.org/en/country/israel
  6. The US paused a shipment of bombs to Israel over worries about Israel nearing a decision to launch a wide-ranging military offensive on the southern Gaza city of Rafah, which President Joe Biden opposes, according to a senior administration official. Bloomberg News' Paul Wallace discusses with Joumanna Bercetche on on Horizons Daybreak: Middle East & Africa.
  7. Anything that comes from Israel media, is propaganda as it isn't verifiable by international media.
  8. Answer this then: Israeli propaganda from Israeli news sites that won't allow international media free access to any evidence to corroborated any of the lies they want to put out.
  9. So you think that's personnel and a rant, but don't question any of the facts stated, proper propaganda.
  10. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you do nothing but post Israeli propaganda from Israeli news sites that won't allow international media free access to any evidence to corroborated any of the lies they want to put out. Cry crocodile tears all you want, even though the majority of Israeli's think and treat Palestinians/Arabs as less than human and have done for years.
  11. They're both probably lying, neither of them have an ounce of humanity, Israel will just carry out whatever they want with their No 1 supporter and no amount of international condemnation will stop them, as has been clearly shown for weeks. While I'm more than disgusted at the reactions on here by pro-Israeli's it matters not a jot to them that whatever is said about all the death and destruction it is all justifiable due to 7/10, humanity doesn't matter.
  12. Got the up button but now everything is cock-eyed to the left, is it possible to get that panel on the right side?
  13. You did not say Khan would win but you implied that he would lose and he didn't. Your fav position imply something then if it goes wrong ignore it, and yes I know you'll come back with some garbage as usual , but I'm not interested in your rightwing/ pro-Israel rhetoric, so don't bother replying.
  14. Israel accused of possible war crime over killing of West Bank boy As part of an investigation into the conduct of Israel's security forces in the West Bank, which has been under military occupation for more than half a century, the BBC has pieced together what happened on the day the two boys were killed. Mobile phone and CCTV footage, information about the movements of Israel's military, witness testimony and detailed investigation of the scene, including taking measurements, combine to reveal evidence suggesting serious human rights violations. The evidence we found has prompted Ben Saul, UN special rapporteur on human rights and counter-terrorism, to say the death of Adam appears to be a "war crime". https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cw07wgrwzywo?at_objective=awareness&at_ptr_type=email&at_email_send_date=20240502&at_send_id=4079305&at_link_title=https%3a%2f%2fwww.bbc.com%2fnews%2farticles%2fcw07wgrwzywo&at_bbc_team=crm
  15. CAIRO (25 April 2024) – The Occupied Palestinian Territory is enveloped in a spiral of unstoppable violence, with stories Palestinians and other witnesses relay adding new depths to atrocities the world has witnessed since the beginning of Israel’s assault on Gaza over six months ago, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Francesca Albanese said today. “The pace and intensity with which this violence has spread to the rest of the occupied territory confirms that no Palestinian is safe under Israel’s unfettered control,” Albanese said, concluding a visit to Egypt and Jordan. The Special Rapporteur said Israel had once again arbitrarily denied her access to the Occupied Palestinian Territory, compelling her to report on the situation of Palestinians under occupation from neighbouring states. https://www.ohchr.org/en/press-releases/2024/04/testimonies-occupied-palestinian-territory-show-new-depths-israels
  16. Blinken Is Sitting on Staff Recommendations to Sanction Israeli Military Units Linked to Killings or Rapes A special State Department panel told Secretary of State Antony Blinken that the U.S. should restrict arms sales to Israeli military units that have been credibly accused of human rights abuses. He has not taken any action. A special State Department panel recommended months ago that Secretary of State Antony Blinken disqualify multiple Israeli military and police units from receiving U.S. aid after reviewing allegations that they committed serious human rights abuses. https://www.propublica.org/article/israel-gaza-blinken-leahy-sanctions-human-rights-violations
  17. Far-right allies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are raising pressure on the embattled leader to reject a new Gaza ceasefire, jeopardising his government's stability if he backs away from an assault on Hamas in Rafah. However, if a ceasefire is agreed, the attack plans will be shelved in favour of a "period of sustained calm", according to a source briefed on the talks, during which a few dozen hostages of Hamas will be released in return for Palestinian prisoners. On Sunday, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich urged Netanyahu not to back away from a ground offensive against Hamas in Rafah, even as the premier is grappling with pressure from international allies to scrap assault plans due to the risk of high civilian casualties and a humanitarian disaster. But a ceasefire would be a humiliating defeat, Smotrich said in a video he released to the press and addressed to Netanyahu. If it fails to stamp out Hamas, "a government headed by you will have no right to exist," he said. https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/gaza-truce-or-rafah-assault-netanyahu-faces-political-dilemma-2024-04-29/
  18. Fantastic, shame it has taken since 1.12pm yesterday to answer my question, I take it you now know what a ? means at the end of a sentence? While I have your attention I take it Mrs Falter's problem child who leads the Campaign Against Antisemitism issue about cancelling his "walk together" is now sorted ref "bottled it"?
  19. Yes you stated that Palestinians are not starving to death, and I asked you "So you want to see Palestinians starving to death?"
  20. Read and understand, please. As for the "Bottled it" I clearly stated in my post and I quote: Campaign Against Antisemitism has cancelled its planned counter-protest against a pro-Palestinian march through central London on Saturday. The group, led by Gideon Falter, had said it wanted to use the “walk together” initiative to support its view that the area around the planned pro-Palestinian march was not safe for Jewish people. But on Friday afternoon CAA announced that its event had been cancelled amid pressure from those within the Jewish community who feared it could backfire.
  21. Been out of the UK 18 months, 3 bed semi, all electric, usual bills approximately 300 quid a month, 150 electric, 50 water rates and 100 council tax, all gone up substantially since. Over here lived for the last 13 months in a 3 bed bungalow out in the sticks, cost me less than 100 quid all in for electric and water, no council tax, per month. What's not to like, and then there is cheaper car running costs, smokes, not a big drinker but that's cheaper and I get great sex 24/7, winner winner chicken dinner.
