  1. Blathering as usual, at least there is an investigation, all to play for, I'm well aware it could take years.
  2. So the ICC only (sort of) investigate war crimes lol
  3. Not interested in any other investigations. The ICC's Office of the Prosecutor (OTP) opened an official investigation into the situation in Palestine in 2021 after determining that “war crimes have been or are being committed by Palestinian and Israeli actors in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip”
  4. Well Nick, congrats, that one takes the biscuit, so the Israeli's know the names and addresses of Hamas fighters in Gaza, then they obliterate the whole area but only after a text, email or leaflet drop, when this eventually gets to court I'm sure that will hold up well.
  5. Exactly what you're doing here, the ICC's Office of the Prosecutor (OTP) opened an official investigation into the situation in Palestine in 2021 after determining that “war crimes have been or are being committed by Palestinian and Israeli actors in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip”
  6. 1, Wilful killing and unjustified destruction and appropriation of property
  7. Guess what, I still stand by that statement, like it or lump it.
  8. Yes, ref flooding the tunnels with seawater, not gas as you stated.
  9. A "Link" would be helpful.
  10. The corruption trial of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel resumed on Monday, bringing back into focus the legal and political challenges he faces even as he presides over the Israeli military’s war against Hamas in Gaza. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/12/04/world/middleeast/netanyahu-corruption-trial.html
  11. Josh Paul, a State Department official who resigned over the transfer of arms to Israel, talks to Christiane Amanpour about what led him to leave his job. https://edition.cnn.com/videos/tv/2023/12/04/amanpour-state-epartment-official-resignation-josh-paul.cnn
  12. And another, more recent: https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-733573
  13. Yep, https://www.timesofisrael.com/ending-censorship-idf-admits-officer-jailed-in-2017-raped-a-palestinian-woman/
  14. No point following my logic ask Morch. The Nazis lost, if they had won there would have been no war crimes, but then we would not have had a Geneva Convention. The IDF/Israeli thugs in uniform, are no better than Hamas, except they have air and sea power, trust me you don't want to be on the ground when there is aircraft engaging ground troops, better weapons, support etc. This isn't a war, more like "a bit of a tidy up and mowing the lawn" or if you're a Palestinian a slaughter.
  15. Only if your as thick as pigs, obviously claiming WW11 bombing as a war crime the same as in Gaza doesn't apply as it didn't come into force till October 1950.
  16. The Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, more commonly referred to as the Fourth Geneva Convention and abbreviated as GCIV, is one of the four treaties of the Geneva Conventions. It was adopted in August 1949, and came into force in October 1950. While the first three conventions dealt with combatants, the Fourth Geneva Convention was the first to deal with humanitarian protections for civilians in a war zone. There are currently 196 countries party to the 1949 Geneva Conventions, including this and the other three treaties

  18. You're an argumentative Zionist, I don't expect anything more from you, I was trying to be even handed at the start of this piece Ref: Journalism, well done for putting me off, where's the block button gone?
  19. Israel does not want any press anywhere, not if it is not under there control, now give us a clue why.? Hamas need the press.
  20. Must you always be so negative, I was trying to be fair to both sides. I am in no doubt Hamas will be selective on who they will allow to be reporters, obviously AL J is there because of there backers, but I take all press with a pinch of salt unless it can be verified by another source. Gaza war is deadliest conflict for journalists in over 30 years, press advocates say https://www.npr.org/2023/12/03/1215798409/palestinian-journalists-killed-gaza-israel-hamas-war
  21. Brian I know we don't agree on much about this sorry conflict but this piece should be a must read for all who comment on here.
  22. I answered the same post but it is now gone along with my reply, I would suggest you delete it.
