  1. Must you always be so negative, I was trying to be fair to both sides. I am in no doubt Hamas will be selective on who they will allow to be reporters, obviously AL J is there because of there backers, but I take all press with a pinch of salt unless it can be verified by another source. Gaza war is deadliest conflict for journalists in over 30 years, press advocates say https://www.npr.org/2023/12/03/1215798409/palestinian-journalists-killed-gaza-israel-hamas-war
  2. Brian I know we don't agree on much about this sorry conflict but this piece should be a must read for all who comment on here.
  3. I answered the same post but it is now gone along with my reply, I would suggest you delete it.
  4. Explain "completely out of context" he said it, even the interviewer was shocked.
  5. The Cambridge English Dictionary defines the word 'assumption' as something that you accept as true without question or proof. Which basically means that when we assume something we are lying to ourselves.
  6. Who helped Hamas come to power?
  7. To me it is only a matter of time before the grown ups take over the Knesset
  8. Not at all, but when Israel imposes apartheid, in an open air prison for nearly 20 years and there is a reaction it's always the Palestinians that are to blame.
  9. Rubbish, Israel has as much to answer for in all this going back to 1948
  10. More of your nonsense, as I've told you on numerous occasions now if you don't like the information, move on.
  11. Two US officials speaking with The Times of Israel made no such indication that the US opposed Israel’s operations in Gaza, as Netanyahu suggested. Rather, Washington had pushed for the IDF to ensure the protection of civilians, the officials said, noting that they support expanding the ground operation into southern Gaza in principle, so long as civilians are offered protection. “I have known Biden for more than 40 years, and know how to speak to the American public,” Kan quoted Netanyahu as having told the Likud backbenchers in individual meetings. One of Netanyahu’s sit-downs was with Likud MK David Bitan, who urged the prime minister to avoid extravagant declarations that have come back to haunt him. Netanyahu had initially declared that Israel would not allow any fuel into Gaza before walking that pledge back earlier this month. Kan reported that Netanyahu made clear to his faction members that he does not plan to leave office after the war, even though opinion polls have consistently predicted since the war began that had elections been held at this time, Netanyahu’s party would crash and his current coalition would plummet from 64 Knesset seats to 42 and be ousted from power. https://www.timesofisrael.com/there-are-2-million-nazis-in-west-bank-says-far-right-finance-minister-smotrich/
  12. Separately on Monday, the Kan public broadcaster reported that Netanyahu has met with at least 10 backbenchers in his Likud party over the past week in an effort to ensure their continued support, as the ruling party — and the premier himself — drops further and further in the polls since the war. “I am the only one who will prevent a Palestinian state in Gaza and [the West Bank] after the war,” Kan quoted Netanyahu as having told the lawmakers. The stance clashes directly with the policy of US President Joe Biden’s administration, which has sought to revive talk of a two-state solution in order to maintain the support of the Arab world, as Biden continues to offer robust backing of Israel during its ongoing war aimed at destroying Hamas and securing the release of the hostages the terror group seized on October 7. Netanyahu reportedly also told the Likud lawmakers that the Biden administration had not wanted Israel to launch a ground incursion in Gaza and had not wanted the IDF to enter Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital, where extensive signs of Hamas presence were found. Netanyahu reportedly boasted about having gone against the US wishes in both of those cases. https://www.timesofisrael.com/there-are-2-million-nazis-in-west-bank-says-far-right-finance-minister-smotrich/
  13. Interesting that the people of Israel use the holocaust to create one of their own.
  14. ‘There are 2 million Nazis’ in West Bank, says far-right Finance Minister Smotrich Remark made in reference to polls showing most West Bank Palestinians back Hamas’s Oct. 7 onslaught; Netanyahu said lobbying Likud MKs, saying only he can foil Palestinian state https://www.timesofisrael.com/there-are-2-million-nazis-in-west-bank-says-far-right-finance-minister-smotrich/
  15. Don't eat yellow snow, perhaps.
  16. RIP to all killed in this tragic war.
  17. You try to be civil, oh well.
  18. No problem, I'll take you off the Christmas card list.
  19. Thanks Bri, what a pal
  20. As there the only ones reporting directly from Gaza there's not a lot more choice. Your best mate Bkk Brian quotes them too. So more useless nonsense from you to.
  21. I wouldn't trust 99% of main stream media no matter where it comes from, they all do there owners bidding or there out of a job.
  22. Norman Finkelstein my hero
  23. Now you have the benefit of religion I thankfully do not, so my soul and the devil don't compute. Whatever the Hamas leader has said is your normal deflection away from the post you questioned originally but as you brought it up I'll give you my take on it. Hamas will lose this war as they are fighting a far better armed and supported military who don't care how many innocent Palestinians they kill on the way, putting that to one side, what next? My guess is Israel will go back to normal running Gaza as an open-air prison with all the same restrictions on Palestinians as before, but this time International support for Gaza will be huge as the one thing that is getting out to the world is the fact that Israel is a Apartheid state with the morals of an alleycat.
