Anyone know anything about the horse racing in bangkok. Horse syndicates, trainers with horse for sale, training fees etc etc I have had shares of horses in the UK. and fancied doing the same here if there are syndicates available. Thanks in anticipation

Biopsy taken twice is negative. EMR is recommended, just waiting lists in UK too long. I had two endoscopies because of admin cock up. But two biopsies too so know it is not cancerous.. A few questions. Anyone know of a supplier of a domed, cover, motorised or not, not inflatable. In the absecnce of that, what about a standard retractable pool cover. If I have a permanent roof built over the top, how to stop pigeons roosting underneath? Given all the dust and crap in burning season, I want something to keep it clean. If I go with retractable, is it best to have it built in when pool is constructed, or retrofit? How successful is retrofit and how good does it look. Lastly, overflow or not overflow. Pool builder says not needed.

Hi, I want to buy a chipper to handle banana trees and banana waste. Maybe small diameter branches too, but mainly banana trees, of which I have several hundred. Can somebody recommend a chipper that would do the job. I have so far only seen the Karten, which is for up to 4 inches, but not sure if moisture laden banana trees would clog it up. I dont actually like catching big fish. I like light tackle and an avon rod, ironically one of John Wilson's but its only capable of fish up to about 15lbs with 6lb line. So I tend to fish away from the specimen places. At £100 plus a day, its lighter on the wallet too. Just want to catch a few pla duc, have them cooked and eat fresh by the water.

So no fishing parks in that whole swathe of countryside, seems amazing, got to be a business opportunity there.

Anyone knoew of any stocked places to fish between Surat Thani and Nakhomn Si Thammarat, Once again my friend is coming to visit. They like to fish, have a few beers and relax. I failed miserably to find any place last time. Hope to succeded this year. I understand there used to be one in Khanom, anyone heard of that one? Thanks

Why are there so few rentals on the mainland? Is it that Thais dont advertise, or that people only rent on islands? I have been looking for 6 weeks holiday, from mid feb, but very little joy. Maybe its because I want three bedrooms minimum and everywhere seems to be 1 or 2 bed. But its difficult.
