Best ideas for dates in Bangkok
Yah, it's the age old problem we need loyalty even if they're good in many ways. If they're not loyal we can't put our heart into it.

There had to be an ulterior motive why she doesn't give her real name. You really can't be too careful. Even if she's just a fruitloop who doesn't want to give her real name, she showed she's difficult, non-compliant and a pain in the ass. Good riddance. I already replaced her with a new girl.

Best ideas for dates in Bangkok
So I'm in an Insta convo with this chick from Bumble, whom I already talked to on the phone, where she had told me her real name. She asks me to add her on Whatsapp, so I ask her what's her real name again? Get this, she refuses to give her real name! Gives me some ludicrous English nickname, that was so dumb I said, no really, give me your real name again. She refused. So in the end, we parted ways because she would not say her real name. Is it me? These 27 year olds are crazy. I get they've been jerked around a lot by guys and cheated on, but not to say your real name? This is controversial now? On the plus side I found another good way to weed out the difficult ones.

Am I Stupid?
I also help needy people on a regular basis, one girl needs a new phone, another help for school fees, one girl needed clothes, another help for food money, one needed help with her rent, there is overhwelming need across the board here.

Best ideas for dates in Bangkok
So I have branched out and am now on Bumble as well. By far the worst disgusting dating app I've ever used. Thankfully the calibre of women on it is superior to TF and many women are smart enough to use their IG details in their bio. So despite the sexist and anti-man policies of Bumble, where you can't text girls, you actually still can because most put their IG profile. In this way I managed to get two very promising attractive ladies to start IG conversations, even called one just now. I have a very bad feeling with Miki, we're supposed to meet this Sunday, but she's not giving me "glad to see you" vibes at all. It's time to replace her I have to sadly admit. I tried, but you can't make good wine from bad grapes.

Best ideas for dates in Bangkok
That's what I thought today, I'd got a reply from a gal on the app and transferred to Line. I as usual offered to fly her to to CM and she seemed interested but then came out with "How much do I get"? Imagine my shock, after she'd said she works in an office. Just for fun I haggled a bit, but obviously I have to ignore her, professionals are such a turn off.

Unfortunately she's displaying very little interest in them. We finally agreed on how to handle the impasse over the family dinner and bf visit calendar clash. However, she did not seem enthused to come to my hotel in the morning, go to the dinner together and then back to the hotel. The waking up at 5 am and working 12 hours is taking a toll on her nice side. It's concerning. I even noticed a reduction in her daily texts on the way to and from work, however, on Messenger she's texting her sister. I obviously raised it, but it's unlikely to help the situation.

Thailand police crackdown on pornographic content production
Definitely not Shakespeare. In both the English and Spanish languages however the rabbit has become synonymous with the vagina in certain time periods. Perhaps Thai police are more erudite that we might suspect, after all some British men were involved, and Rabbit Slaughter is a learned allusion to the vagina in the slang of the producers? Why slaughter though? Because they're slaughtering the vagina film producers maybe, oh they are so lyrical these Thai police...

It's not a lie, I did do several girls younger than her after I threw her out. But I can't tell her that, come on, she'd not take it well.

Best ideas for dates in Bangkok
That was going to be my main play, when she comes back to ask "how are you going to make it up to me". However, recent events are not promising. I have to go to Bangkok on business this Sunday. So naturally I was looking forward to all day and all night quality time with Miki. But turns out her family have arranged a family party on the 15th, with relatives she hasn't seen in 5 years at her favourite type of restaurant, these infernal Mookata ratholes. I'd explored the possibility of her not going to this event. But she loves Mookata, party and lives with mom, so she wants to go. I'm welcome to join. Ie sit with total strangers for 3 hours whose language I don't speak, eating awful Mookata food. Plus her mother dislikes me, as does her sister and they both know Miki cheated on me, so the humiliation would be total. And at the end of the evening I can say goodbye and go to the hotel with Miki for 2 and a half hours max. She has to get up at 5 am to work at the factory the next day and made clear she can't take more sick days as she's already taken holiday to see me 2 days over Xmas. I've been pushing so hard for her to meet me, expressing my dismay she'd not prefer to spend the night with me, that our comunication has taken a detour to Antarctica. But she's still texting. Starting to wonder if the juice is worth the squeeze with Miki. She's very hot and attractive, but my problem is that I've forgiven her cheating, so her reasoning now is "no matter what I do, he'll not walk, so I can do whatever I want". Taking her back may have been a mistake.

Visa on Arrival refused - what is the best way to re-enter Thailand?
I did not even know such a thing exists, only reading on here did I find out. Good guess, plus flight to BKK, flight out of Thailand, all in all, it was 20000, as I also stayed one night in BKK and then took a bus back to CM as I did not intend to make even visual contact with CM immigration at the airport.

Visa on Arrival refused - what is the best way to re-enter Thailand?
Well, it was a very tricky situation. When I got to Malaysia the Malay immigration guys were joking "Wow, these Thais are strict", and as they put their stamp in my passport one of them wrote in hand "Deported" above the stamp. Which was firstly not true, as you know you have to be let in to be deported, I was denied entry, but secondly and much more importantly, most airlines who see a "deported" in the passport are not too happy to take you to your destination as they'll bear the cost possibly to bring you back if you're denied entry. So I had that problem. Then doing some research I saw on youtube some guy who had a tourist visa STILL being denied entry because they said he'd stayed in Thailand too long, even though he had the tourist visa. So it was clear that applying for that was a waste of time. As I had nightmare visions of having to stay in the rainy gray and depressing hell hole that is KL I decided to browse these forums. And lo and behold I came across a thread where a similar problem was discussed and one forum member in particular had mentioned how he had gotten into Thailand again. I contacted him and he kindly put me in touch with the people who had helped him. It cost a fortune, I still got proper return flights, not dummy tickets and I thought I was basically clear as I'd printed out the boarding pass using the app of Malaysia Airlines and passport check is automated in KL. However, just before boarding a MAL lady asked if I had a return ticket. Luckily she didn't check the deported stamp in the passport, and I had a return ticket. So I made it onto the flight back to Bangkok. Then once in Bangkok the people who I had arranged everything with ensured I was cleared through immigration very quickly.

In an operation worthy of James Bond I was able to re-enter LOS, and not just that, organised it so that Miki would meet me in the hotel in Bangkok on the day of my return. We had a fun night and day hitting the luxury malls for food, which was a step up from last time as she stayed the night and even took a sick day off work to spend the day with me. My sense of triump and joy at being back in LOS gave way to yet more despair a few days later though, as some investigation on my part showed that Miki had not stayed one day with this guy in Bangkok. In fact she'd flown to Phuket to see him. I confronted her and she said she'd spent there 4 days. That was a new bitter pill to digest. I actually think it was 7 or 11 days. So even now Miki was still lying. I took her to task hard and she cried. Hard to take the magnitude of her betrayal, I thought it was one day, but no, she flew to Phuket. Now I know why she picked an ugly guy, he dangled the 5 star resort in Phuket carrot in front of her. At least things are starting to make sense. My new Indonesian friend is helping me get over it.

Visa on Arrival refused - what is the best way to re-enter Thailand?
I did not get a tourist visa. Some cursory research on Youtube quickly showed that immigration officers would just again pull the "you lived here too long and you're not a tourist card" and that tourist visa would have been useless. With the gracious, generous help of another forum member I was able to enter LOS legally anyway. I will follow the advice to get a retirement visa.

Best ideas for dates in Bangkok
I just can't believe Thailand. So I checked my Insta and I had a convo with this girl where I just stopped replying in Nov 2023. No idea why. Anyway, so I said hi, how are you. We got talking and I invited her to come to Chiang Mai. She was excited, gave me the dates and said to book the ticket. She is unbelievable attractive, a 9. I still can't believe these girls just hop on a plane and come stay with me, a perfect stranger. What a wonderful country.

Yeah, it really was a mega mistake to reveal I had 2kids. My stupid honesty, I have to reign that in. I can't believe you said Batak, she is actually Batak. We were talking yesterday, and I told her I had a rule that my gf can't text with exes and other guys. Another dumbass mistake. Of course turned out she has this group of guy and girl friends. They had an issue with one of the girls having a bf who didn't like her hanging with these guy friends. And Sophie hates that bf. I honestly told her the boyfriend was right and a gf should prioritise her rel. So she said I'm glad you're not my man, clearly we can't be together. I agreed. So silence this morning and just now she hits me up saying she missed me. These crazy emotional things.

These niqabs freak me out. There are pretty women here, but you feel like you're in Bangladesh and the morality police will come any minute. Malaysia is so not for me. Good food, ok, but constant rain, humidity, Thailand is so much better.

You can have Shen, she's a total pain. Good luck. Anyway, whilst I'm in this rainy gray hell hole that is Malaysia I can let you know some good news. I've been writing with Sophie. I liked her so much that when it came to the point that when she asked me if I have kids I decided to tell her the truth, that I had 2. I almost lost her. As expected, she didn't love the news, she said her family is very trad, father's a priest and wouldn't like it, the villagers would gossip. I almost thought that was it. But with a bit of dread and signalling withdrawal things turned around. She decided to give us a chance. Then her ex got in touch and wanted her back. With some expert advice from yours truly she told him it was over. So then she focused her attention on me and said we should date. So I have to fly to Jakarta next month. Single life is not easy, guys. But glad things turned around with Sophie

Visa on Arrival refused - what is the best way to re-enter Thailand?
That's what I thought, but they were like jackal circling me in a pack. All with only one goal in mind, refuse entry. One guy even screamed at me in an agitated way. Escorted in a cell like a criminal flanked by armed security. Quite surreal. I was held from 9 am to 14.30 and not given food or water.

Thanks Dr Jack. If I get the tourist visa I guess CNX is unlikely to refuse entry on the grounds I'm not. Tourist as I styed there 19 months, I guess? I'm 53 btw.
