  1. Well, it's not ENTIRELY false. There seems to be a strong correlation between support for Trump and support for Putin, a least.
  2. What would the Dems' immigration legislation do?
  3. Oh Charlie the America hater hasn't heard of someone! That is truly the standard for when someone is a "somebody" or a "nobody."
  4. How is it racist for each country to have their own rules? You really think the UK's rules aren't based on an understanding of what Thais do once they have a visa?
  5. What does that mean? What do 869 posts have to do with anything?
  6. Pretty astonishing claims, zmisha. I'm about as immersed in Russian agitprop as anyone here -- much more so, in fact -- and even I've never heard that American controls everything in Russia. You're beyond tinfoil hat status, amigo.
  7. Yes, he's not going anywhere, because anyone who opposes him dies. I suppose you're also in favor of people being able to vote? Sure there are contradictions -- "against war" and yet you support someone who repeatedly invades or creates separate ethic states when his neighbors dare disagree with him. You have a strange way of opposing war. "Sheep"? And YOU'RE criticizing me for using what you think is a trite epithet? "LIBERAL"? Ditto. The new Right accuses anyone of being "LIBERAL!" who doesn't agree with them. If you knew ANYTHING about me other than I think Putin is a monstrous, murderous dictator opposed who must be stopped (which in itself is not a liberal stance), you'd never accuse me of that. Besides, who cares? Attack the idea, not the individual. Finally, the Hitler comparison works extremely well and I will continue to use it. 1) Your man-crush is the one who CONSTANTLY appeals to World War 2. I lived in Russia 2019-2022 and was there when the war started. He purposefully, continuously appealed to the "Great Patriotic War" to justify his invasion. 2) The war he started is indeed the largest in Europe since Hitler himself. 3) He has used the exact same justifications for his invasion and his previous occupations of parts of Ukraine as Hitler did. 4) He is an dictator who sends his opponents to concentration camps, if he doesn't kill them first. And sometimes he kills them in the gulags. 5) He makes the same blood and soil claims Hitler did.
  8. The contradictions in your statement are breathtaking. You are literally the first guy I've seen here who says he's pro-Putin. There's a certain integrity in that, I guess, along with the guy in 1941 who said he was pro-Hitler.
  9. Great example of the "I'm not pro-Putin, I'm just an honest guy who wants peace" post. And yet every post on the subject support Russia's claims.
  10. We will pray for your dark, dark soul. Good for you for being willing to admit it (this part isn't sarcasm) -- most pro-Russian Westerners argue Russian points all day long but when asked will usually say, "I'm not pro-Russian, I'm just a guy who wants peace" or something equally fatuous.
  11. Incredibly ironic. You're as solid a Russia supporter as anyone here, @thaibeachlovers (along with @frank83628 and @BobBKK and a few others.) But I've never thought any of you guys as LITERALLY bots, or LITERALLY paid by Russia, though your unwavering support might indicate that.
  12. 1) Capitalism has provided unbelievable levels of wealth for billions of people alive right now. 2) No one claims money fulfills all of one's needs -- you're setting up a straw man. 3) It's hilarious that you use Maslow to try and prove your point as socialism doesn't in itself provide ANY level of the pyramid. It doesn't provide adequately for physical needs, and persecutes the systems that provide for spiritual needs. Thanks for the laugh. And saving frogs takes money, not a 5-year plan and gulags.
  13. For sure you will. Seems like every other public official I hear of in UK is Muslim/South Asian. It seems that they are massively overrepresented in government compared to the population, but I could be wrong on that.
  14. Sorry man, but that's delusional. It makes everyone equally poor, except for those at the top who somehow always seem to do quite well.
  15. I think the rule of law should apply to DACA people -- i.e. you're illegal, you should be deported, especially if you commit a crime of any kind. That said, I also think (though the train left the station on this years ago) that DACA is a great bargaining chip and the Reps should agree to give them amnesty in exchange for something they want on immigration. But as I said, due to many reasons, not the least the open borders we've had for years that have allowed millions in, this is yesterday's hash.
  16. In Chicago, there's only one party! No need to worry about things like "elections"!
  17. What a silly post; I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that such sloppy thinking was due to being in a hurry. I'm not insisting on anything and go ahead, try to find any post where I used those terms. I'm pointing out the flaws in what you posted -- that there is no American Left because it doesn't conform to a European model.
  18. Honestly, and I am no Kamala fan as one can see from my posts, it IS true, or at least a huge proportion of them.
  19. They stopped the bank "verification" letter (in quotes because nothing, in fact, was being verified) some years back. Per Thai regulations the bank documents are supposed to be taken at face value unless there is a reason to doubt their authenticity. Individual bureaucrats sometimes still ask for it, but I hear even that is pretty rare.
  20. The WMD BS was more than 20 years ago. Not sure how it's relevant now. And one striking point about the New Right/Trump Party is how much they hate Republicans of previous days and Gulf War 2. Part of their platform (we'll see how they do when Trump is re-elected) is no more wars like that, which dovetails neatly for their support of Russia, in cutting off aid to Ukraine.
  21. You can see how often he has commented on the right hand top of the page. It's 17. And you're there too, not far behind at 13, so maybe don't throw rocks while sitting in your glass house.
