Sometimes purposefully I will drive up to the gate smile and leave. Screw them. Let me add a sad story. A beautiful place up past Doi Suthep was full of the most beautiful ancient hardwoods. Until last week when the staff cut down 15 of the most beautiful spiritually life giving trees. I thought jeez, were they dangerous? Then I drove up a bit further and saw all the cut trees stacked up for export to China or maybe Bankgok, who knows. I was blown away, what person can do this? OK, ya starving but they are not. Doesn't take Government employees any where to start to think they own the park and the last thing they want is anyone visiting their private space.

Not one airline on earth makes money with them, they simply need the seats.

What's wrong with equal taxes or tariffs as we call them? How can any country sell a car or anything to the USA with a 5% tariff and the USA sells them a car or anything made in the USA and they charge 30%? This simply does not make sense to me. I don't care who is president. Fair is fair. Get used to it. I know how easy it is to send any goods from my company made here to the USA with very little tarriff but when we try to send the same thing back here, its an absolute nightmare.

A few days ago after having used Remitly for the last 6 months I saw that Western Union had a fantastic rate. It didn't seem real it was so good. No fee and exact mid rate from XE.com. I signed up without having to have US Text Code number ability and sent my recent Social Security over here to Bangkok Bank. It arrived in 24hrs by way of selecting Debit Card that I have with my US bank and also no fee there and I saved over 600 baht. I don't think I can get it again after that intro offer but it sure helps getting an extra 600baht in my wallet. I used my passport for ID, and also the customer service was way better than Remitly and ten times better than Wise who I used to use until there was a small issue which was never resolved. And no I don't work for them. Just thought I'd share a way to get a few extra beers or a good meal.

I used to work in major concrete construction projects. I laughed when I read this line. 'Samples have already been collected for analysis, and preliminary results are expected within two or three days." During construction in safer places, independent agencies come and take sample of the concrete while it is being poured and after it dries for a certain time they do a compression test. If it fails then the poor measly workers like me had to take Air Hammers and destroy the entire structure that included that concrete. And it hell and often took days. That's the correct way to do this, not see if it falls down and then test it. And of course once they realize it was substandard, a few envelopes changing hands will ensure it is strong enough. NOT AFTER THE BUILING COLLAPSES!!!!

Excellent observation. Both sides of the news which we have all been saturated with since covid when we were stuck in our cubicles like prisoners for a few years, has made a fortune continuing to persuade us to all fight against each other about things we can do basically nothing about; except vote. If we all kind of started getting along a bit better and calming down, the news people on both sides, perhaps 80% of them would lose their jobs. My best friend and I have different views and have agreed to never discuss any of this stuff. I try to support whomever really tries to make changes that are good for all of us but dam they are all so rich after 10 years there its crazy. Its a club like George Carlin said and we're not in it. As an elderly person really not much ever changes year after year. Rich become richer and I become poorer as like many others. Its a big party out there in DC and it will continue for my lifetime at least until some madman starts pushing buttons. Lets see after 6 to 8 months what good things have changed for us Yanks. Right now I hope the violence against people in the streets stops.

June 2024 I saw a living creature in my skin and realized some bug and others were making me itch. I went crazy cleaning and eventually left that condo and moved back to Chiang Mai. I went to a Doctor??? at BKK Hospital north of Pattaya and she said. 'We don't have bed bugs in Thailand'. Oh so it snuck in across the border? I have still have this stuff and the original patches of red itchiness have not really gone away. The other thing is some Thai gal said sand fleas??? So I'm not really sure exactly what this stuff is and one pharmacist looked and said 'Oh I know what that is' very very confident. I have tried the following creams. all cortisone's, Dermahfhu brand a mix of stuff and still no luck. I don't want to keep wasting money on these Doctors. You know you can go to ten of them and still not have resolution. I have boiled the necessary clothes I need for the day and will put every other thing in my car and leave it in the sun all day. If anyone has been through this and been successful at eliminating them please chime in. I kindly request to not respond with maybe this or maybe that, and those who have not got rid of them. I was able to get back my Kraken account. I am now going through a three day security wait to get back in. I'm hoping that my bank details from the US are still in it. I've gone through a few weeks of misery trying get this all back open after I realized I had left some stock in EXOD that tripled. Its apparently some ETF thing now adding in more hours and hours misery and needing to open a brokerage to get it out that I know nothing about. I'm having to relearn all this stuff after 4 years away. Customer service is crap from all of them.

I have an account that I can't access, customer service is non existent. Also tried crypto.com based in Singapore and they said I needed a Thai ID which I don't have or need. Quite ridiculous. I'm a US citizen and cannot use Binance. I see Trump just signed an order to stop harassing US businessmen overseas. I'm hoping he will get get rid of FACTA.
