  1. Yes, the people who come across in dinghies claim asylum and are then in the UK legally whilst their application for asylum is processed and then if the are not granted asylum and they remain in the UK , it would be THEN that they become illegal in the UK
  2. Could have been someone else who posted the videos on social media. ? Someone found the videos on his phone and posted them online ?
  3. I am talking about people in the UK illegally . You are talking about people in the UK legally . We are talking about two different things
  4. Those are Asylum seekers who wouldn't be in the U.K illegally . The Government policies of making life difficult for illegal immigrants is aimed at people in the UK illegally , rather than legal Asylum seekers . You are getting overstayers /illegal immigrants and asylum seekers mixed up
  5. Charles De Menezes was shot dead by Police in 2006. That episode had absolutely nothing to do with deportations in 2024. The UK Police didn't even think that he was Brazilian and its just a coincidence that CDM and the latests deported people are from the same Country Precedent means : *an earlier event or action that is regarded as an example or guide to be considered in subsequent similar circumstances.*
  6. The Police shooting of Charles De Menezes didn't set a precedent , because it was a one off that didn't happen again . Brazilians getting deported and Brazilians getting killed by the UK Police are two very different things . They have indeed been clampdowns on illegal people in the UK . Read all about it here : "The policy has been cited as one of the harshest immigration policies in the history of the United Kingdom, and has been widely criticised as inhumane, ineffective, and unlawful" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_Office_hostile_environment_policy
  7. Its not a precedent at all, as it was a one off mistake . There have been clampdowns of fasle education visas and marriage visas and its been made difficult for illegal people to remain in the U.K.
  8. Why would you mention Charles De Menezes ? He was the Brazilian man who got shot dead by UK Police after they mistook him for an Arab terrorist . Why did you mention him ?
  9. Brazil is just one of the locations where they were deported to , there are numerous other countries where they have been sent to
  10. About 75 % left voluntarily , 25 % were forced to go . Imagine that : Getting a dingy over to the UK , getting free food and lodging in a 4 star hotel for a few years and then getting a free flight to Brazil with 3 G in your sky rocket .
  11. How much would she now charge just to have a look and feel of her breasts ?
  12. As I recall there were protests from other airplane flight passengers when people were being deported under the Tories . Other passengers stopped the deportations by causing a fuss on the flight . The solution to that is to get secret private flights and mass deportations . Throwing them out the Country without telling anyone is the solution to the problem of passengers complaining about deportations . I am getting to like this Starmer guy .
  13. I thought that Labour opposed deportations . Labour have deported 10 000 people since the elections . I am warming to the Labour Party . 600 Brazilians including 106 children have been secretly sent back to Brazil . Labour might even get my vote in the next election if they keep up the good work https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/dec/01/brazilians-deported-home-office-secret-flights-uk "More than 600 Brazilians deported by Home Office on three secret flights Record number of deportees includes children who may have spent most of their lives in the UK"
  14. IDF in a fire fight with Hamas in Khan Younis Video from a reservist combat engineering battalion engage militants and evacuate wounded soldiers, including their commander while under fire https://streamable.com/i8lnj9
  15. Yinn Luck Shinawatra seems to be having a great time in London
  16. Many other stateless people acquire Thai Nationality all the time , although it usually takes a few years , this ceremony is denote the new fast track process .
  17. A 99 year old woman who served in all three branches of the Armed forces and won two medals and who travelled 5000 miles to the UK and it will be her 100 th Birthday this month . Starmer should have found the time to meet her based solely on that . Even just a cup of tea at Number 10 .
  18. .....................and the destruction of the terrorist group Hamas . It is important to mention the main task of the Israeli campaign to bring the terrorists to justice . Actually, it should be the first thing that's mentioned *work that is even more essential under the current destruction of the Hamas terror group who commited war crimes and atrocities along with Palestinian civilian dwellings, schools, hospitals and infrastructure*
  19. That would be a bit unfair if you selected a girl without any at all and she began growing them
  20. Nigel refused to accept money from the E.U Nigel Farage 'will not take a penny' of £153,000 MEP golden goodbye Nigel Farage “will not take a penny” of the £153,000 windfall he could claim for his 20-year stint as a member of the European parliament, his spokesman has said, as the UK’s 73 MEPs are set to be told on Monday night about any cash payouts they are due. Farage could leave the EU on 31 January with a pre-tax golden goodbye worth €178,657 (£152,992) under a European parliament “transition allowance” for ex-MEPs, a calculation based on his 20 complete years since 1999. Asked about the transition allowance, a spokesman for Farage said: “He won’t take a penny.” https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/jan/13/farage-will-not-take-a-penny-of-153000-mep-golden-goodbye-due
  21. That is optional . You don't have to pay for that
  22. It seems to have been lifted/ reversed already
  23. Sir Keir Starmer has refused to meet a Second World War veteran who had £60,000 wiped off her state pension. Anne Puckridge, who turns 100 this month, is one of half a million British retirees who do not benefit from annual increases in their state pension because they live abroad. The Government has struck deals with some countries to ensure those living overseas benefit from inflation-linked state pension increases. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/keir-starmer-refuses-to-meet-99-year-old-war-veteran-who-had-60k-wiped-off-her-pension/ar-AA1vc1OE?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=4a733dfea1cd40b897a11680de5897ec&ei=19
