The land that Jerusalem sat on was called Judea in Roman times . Judea was the Roman translation of Yehuda , Yehuda being the Son of Jacob and later changed his name to Israel . Jerusalem was and is in Judea , which is an Hebrew name dating back thousands of years . There wasn't a Country called Palestine in Roman times

I have answered previously . Firstly Hamas needs to be wiped out , all killed . Once that is complete , then a new younger generation of Palestinians need to emerge , a group that is content living side by side with Israel , deradicalized and can be trusted not to wage war on Israel . Israel will need to control the borders to make sure they do not militarise for the foreseeable future . All Countries in the Region would need to make peace with Israel , normalize diplomatic relations with all the Worlds Countries . Stop all the boycotts and public hostility towards Israel , the world must accept Israels right to exist

Hamas attacked Israel and committed atrocities and Hamas must face justice for those actions . All Those people holding hostages need to face justice for their actions , they all need to be arrested and face their day in an Israeli Court . Releasing their hostages will not make them immune from prosecution
