Out of patriotism, and because I have a big Thai flag hanging in my living room, I stopped using my car on Fridays. After 5 years, I realized that nobody was doing this. Except me. Never on the radio have I heard 'okay, let's stop this program, you can use your car every day now...' All forms of discrimination are condemnable. The gay community has certainly had more than its share of discrimination. But the sensitivities and preferences of people should be heard. And that includes people who prefer not to have interactions with gay or trans individuals. It is their right, and it is their right to be able to say it. That doesn't necessarily make them haters. Otherwise, wouldn't this be a form of discrimination? It's just that it has shifted sides. Political correctness (in all of its forms) has gone too far.
