Plenty of MSG and sugar used in almost every dish, doesn't exactly make it great food, besides Obesity with locals pointing in a different direction, but that I guess is related to a healthy diet, not a tasty diet, which totally depends on individual taste and priorities. Cheap deep fried food is offered everywhere, but healthy and tasty food without MSG and sugar is hard to find as far as I am concerned, eating homemade Thai food almost daily. Good food should be tasty and healthy, but for some people the picture/selfie is more important than the actual food taste and quality it seems. General opinions/rankings depend mostly on the sponsor, not necessarily reflecting on reality.

No wonder more and more people avoiding Thailand with the daily trashy issues and insulting behavior towards foreigners which basically support their living.

Great advertisement for Thai Tourism! There are certainly different ways to handle a disagreement, but in a trashy environment you cant expect too much, and it seems to get worse every year!

Totally agree, and that is pretty much the case all over Thailand. Even if you'd find a public toilet, they are usually filthy, smelly and simply disgusting. About time to use some of the tourist income and show some appreciation, but there are too many deep pockets and never-ending greed, which doesn't exactly help. However it should be up to the locals to make it happen and raise standards to a civilized level for their own good.
