Kiattisak Chaikaew of the Nakhon Sawan Police Station responded to the scene, where Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) personnel were already working to cut power to the lines. Rescue teams used a bucket truck to retrieve the victim, identified as Mr. Panumas Khotsuwan, a contracted construction worker. He was found lying on the power lines in a critical condition, with severe burn injuries caused by the electric shock. Rescue teams took approximately 15 minutes to safely remove him from the power lines and transport to Sawanpracharak Hospital for immediate medical treatment. According to the victim’s younger brother who was working alongside him, they were part of a team of four workers hired to extend the rooftop and install a steel frame to support an advertising sign on the commercial building. Mr. Panumas, a welder, secured himself with a safety harness attached to a power pole to prevent falls while working near the edge of the rooftop. While walking along the edge of the roof with his welding rod in hand, the rod accidentally made contact with a high-voltage power line, resulting in the electric shock that throw him onto the wires and left him severely burned. Mr. Banjong, 57, the first person to find the body, recounted that he was walking from Yaowarat to catch a bus home to Yasothon around 14.00. As he passed the railway columns, he noticed flies swarming around a cluster of banana leaves. Suspecting something unusual, he saw the tip of a human foot sticking out and immediately sought help. He encountered another passerby, Mr. Songdej, 45, and together they confirmed the body before reporting it to Don Mueang Police Station. Pol. Col. Surapong Thamphithak, Deputy Commander of Metropolitan Police Division 2, stated that the identity of the victim is still unknown, as no identification documents were found. The collision involved a blue Mazda pickup truck, a motorcycle, and an electric tricycle, resulting in three injuries and two fatalities. The injured victims were identified as: • Mr. Chinnakorn Sopamas, 41, the driver of the pickup truck, residing in Na Chik Subdistrict, Mueang District, Amnat Charoen. • Miss Parinyakorn Wongsawaek, 11, a passenger in the truck and a resident of the same subdistrict. • Master Phupha Sopamas, 10, also a passenger in the truck and from Na Chik Subdistrict. The incident occurred on Sukhonthawit Road, heading toward Ban Phaeo, in Talad Subdistrict, Krathum Baen District. Pol. Lt. Col. Thawisak Lekkla, an investigator, along with medical personnel from Krathum Baen Hospital and Ruamkatanyu Foundation rescue workers, responded to the scene. Upon arrival, authorities discovered two victims, a man and a woman, both pronounced dead at the scene. The impact also caused damage to a road sign, and tyre skid marks stretched along the roadside, indicating the force of the collision. Later, the victim was identified as Mr. Aung Min Su, 34 years old, a Burmese migrant worker, after his relatives came forward. Nearby, officers found a 9mm handgun and a single spent shell casing, which were secured as evidence. According to preliminary investigations, the victim's boyfriend, identified as Mr. Wisawa Kainakorn, 43, was at home during the incident. He told authorities that Ms. Dali was a well-known Lao influencer who often livestreamed provocative content for an international audience. She reportedly received financial support from a male American follower, who frequently sent her money. Mr. Wisawa recounted that just before the incident, Ms. Dali was livestreaming for the American man while he was taking a shower downstairs. He reported hearing a single gunshot followed by the sound of something falling. Rushing to check, he found Ms. Dali lying in a pool of blood and immediately called the police. Emergency responders attempted to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are treating the case as a suspected suicide based on the initial evidence but have not ruled out other possibilities.
