  2. Think there is possibly more than the reported details to this incident. The MG was damaged by the collision from the part falling off the bus, but there initially no fire, as there was time to pull over to the side of the road and wait a tow truck. It is possible that the tow truck, caused the already damaged battery to catch fire, or the actions of the tow truck did it’s own damage, impossible to know from the pictures. From the video of the fire and the obvious relative ease, the fire was extinguished, there was no thermal runaway of the battery.
  3. Yes, is unclear, but the claim of Boeing escaping prosecution again, was widely reported through both the media and aviation sources. DoJ had previously said a full statement and decision will be announced on 7 July.

  6. Oil Truck Accident Causes Major Fire and Power Outage in Ranong. At approximately 22:10, 21 June, an oil truck with a trailer lost control and veered off the road near Ban Thap Chaiya, at the border of Bang Kaeo sub-district in La-un district, Ranong. The trailer overturned, causing an immediate fire due to the spilled fuel. The fire continued to burn uncontrollably, with authorities deciding to let the fuel burn out completely. The fate of the truck driver remains unknown, with authorities unable to confirm if the driver survived or was trapped in the fire. The intense heat reduced the truck to its chassis, and a high-voltage power pole collapsed as a result of the fire. This incident caused a power outage in La-un and Kra Buri districts. Electrical Authority personnel swiftly cut off the high-voltage lines at the accident site and rerouted the power supply from Chumphon, covering the area from Ban Yai to the Kra Buri intersection. 9. At 22:45, 21 June, a fire was reported involving a vehicle at the new rest area near the Pong toll booth. At the scene, an MG SUV, was found engulfed in flames. The fire was believed to have been caused by a collision with the drive shaft of a bus, which had broken off and struck the battery located underneath the MG vehicle. The incident occurred while the MG was being loaded onto a tow truck. During the process, the vehicle caught fire. The highway tow truck personnel quickly decided to use a winch to drag the vehicle off the slide-back platform and then used a chemical fire extinguisher to contain the blaze temporarily. Firefighters in the area were subsequently notified to provide further assistance, and extinguish the fire. Pictures - Pattaya Rescue.

  12. Koh Samui, a fire broke out at a well-known coffee shop on Koh Samui on the morning of June 21 causing an estimated damage of over 5 million baht. At 10:40 senior district officer Chatchai Manee received a report of a fire at the renowned coffee shop located approximately 100 meters from the Koh Samui District Office. Immediate coordination with the Koh Samui Municipality Fire Department, Surat Thani Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, Koh Samui Police, and Kusolsongkroh Foundation rescue workers ensued, with fire trucks dispatched to the scene. The incident occurred at a famous coffee and dining establishment in Village No. 3, Ang Thong Sub-district. The four-story concrete building, popular among international tourists, had its second floor designated for events, while the third and fourth floors provided budget accommodations. The fire started on the rooftop, which had been modified into a private living space for the owner. The owner reported that he was downstairs managing the business when someone alerted him to the smoke. He promptly contacted emergency services. Fortunately, himself, his daughter, and his wife were unharmed. However, he expressed concern for valuable possessions, including gold jewelry and numerous diamond items worth over 5 million baht. Authorities have secured the area, ensuring that the valuables remain on-site. The exact cause of the fire is still unknown and will be investigated by forensic officials. https://workpointnews.com/around/news/N82ZHY5 Video of the fire, before responders arrived at the scene. 15. Koh Samui, on June 21, at 11:00 a fire broke out in a residential area in Village No. 6, Bo Phut Sub-district, Koh Samui. The fire originated from a single-story wooden house, closely situated among several others. The intense flames rapidly spread, prompting a swift response from local firefighters who managed to bring the blaze under control short. The cause of the fire was identified as a domestic dispute. During an argument with his wife, a man set his own house on fire in an act of defiance. The flames then spread to three neighbouring houses, causing extensive damage. No casualties have been reported, but the incident has left multiple families without homes. Authorities are investigating the full extent of the damage and are providing assistance to the affected residents.
  16. Another similar incident, 20 June, where “just stop oil activists’ attack jets at Stansted Airport, this also pointless, but with possible, more serious, dangerous potential. https://aviationsourcenews.com/airport/just-stop-oil-activists-attack-jets-at-stansted-airport/

  18. The report say “air from the left engine flows into the flight deck, from the right engine into the passenger cabin”, and the new guidance from Boeing now says that pilots should follow the checklist for ‘engine severe damage’ in these incidents. “In that procedure, the pilot shuts down the engine and pulls a fire handle. This second step cuts the flow of air from the engine, closing off the source of the smoke.” The airlines manuals did not have this information and the pilots lacked the knowledge on the LRD device, so potential to follow the wrong checklist. The FAA are investigating where this lack of pilot information stems, was in from a Boeing issue or a training issue with the airlines.
  19. Here is some further details of the Boeing alert. Seems that the pilots manual did not include details of new LRD technology (load reduction device) on the LEAP (leading edge aviation propulsion) engine, made by CFM International. The LEAP engine is used by both Boeing and Airbus A320. Following the Boeing notice, the airline’s manuals were revised, to ensure pilots follow the correct checklist in this type of incident. https://www.dallasnews.com/business/airlines/2024/06/20/two-737-max-engine-incidents-at-southwest-airlines-causes-boeing-to-warn-pilots/
  20. More denying the facts. The agreement was announced just days before Trump left office, by his Republican administration, or are you telling me that Trump, as President, was not in charge of his own administration.555555. I am out of this conversation, what is the point of trying to debate with 2 “Wing-nut”, conspiracy cultists, who deny the facts, only believe in their own opinions, and are blinded with tunnel vision caused by their on prejudices. I will not offer further replies to you both, but will continue to post, real facts, not BS.
  21. Some as expected, nothing. The deaths have been ruled as suicide and natural death, by the authorities and all the details have been made public. When you are so paranoid, you believe nothing other than your own conspiracies.
  22. Yes Yes Yes And not implying, just the facts. He gave the deferred prosecution deal. You finally understand, he gave this as a parting thank you,
  23. Look it up yourself, then try to explain to me why? The DoJ will inform everyone on 7 July as to what is going to happen.
