News update from the weekend, quoted a Bangkok hospital as saying, two or three passengers who were on turbulence-hit flight left Thailand by air ambulances, while others required nurses and doctors accompanying them on commercial flights.   6. June 10, 23:30, a fire broke out at a sushi restaurant within the Kasetsart University campus in Bangkhen. The incident occurred near Gate 1 on Ngamwongwan Road, prompting an immediate response from the firefighters from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Ladyao emergency volunteers, and Poh Teck Tung Foundation volunteers. The blaze was found raging inside the Salmon King Sushi Bar located on the first floor of the Ngamwongwan 1 parking structure. Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire within about 45 minutes. However, the area was still filled with smoke, requiring an additional 30 minutes of ventilation to bring the situation fully under control. Initial reports indicate that the fire completely destroyed the restaurant, covering an area of approximately 50 square meters.   7. It is being reported in Thai media that this embankment construction only started in 2020, after delays and the point where it collapsed was only completed about 2 years ago. The full construction was from, Wat Saeng Siritham to the edge of Choeng Len Temple, a total length of approximately 2,235 meters, and with a construction budget of 469,887,400 baht. An inspection of the damage was carried out at 10:30, June 10, 2024, by Mr. Sutee Thongyam, Governor of Nonthaburi Province, Mr. Songsit Sukpanich, Director of the Medium Irrigation Office No. 11, Mr. Khom Phattharakulprasert Director of the Nonthaburi Provincial Buddhist Office, Mr. Preeda Chuetphudee, Tha It Subdistrict Administrative Organisation/Chula Ratchamontri Penit District, Mr. Phirom Chumchum, Pak Kret District Chief and Phrakru Nonthakhunpipat Abbot of Wat Choeng Len, and they have asked The Royal Irrigation Department to send a team of experts to investigate the cause of the collapse.

  9. 04:16 a.m. on June 10, a reported house fire, Village No. 6, Soi Phonprapanimit 16, Nong Prue. A house.used previously for fortune telling., now selling 2nd hand items, was found burning and a lot of smoke in the area. It took responders about one hour to extinguish the fire, and help 2 injured persons, Mr. Samrit, age 57, who suffered burns on both hands, and Ms. Phonprapa, age 58, suffered burns on her right leg. Rescue personnel gave first aid before transporting them to hospital. . The casualties were sleeping, when they felt the room was getting hot, on opening the bedroom door found the house ablaze.   10. A 70 year old lady was rescued, by firefighters, from another room and required hospital treatment for smoke inhalation, but suffered no serious injury. The student had to be rescued by responders as he was almost was almost lynched by the other residents, from the same building. It is doubtful that this type of apartment will have sprinklers fitted, but given that the room was destroyed by the fire, the corridor shows little damage, other than smoke.

(Facts do not show any bias). - The UK state pension will be a 100 years old in 2025. - From 1925 to 1955, if you lived in Thailand, you got no payment. - 1929 The Contributory Pension Act, which allowed the pensions to be paid in HM’s Dominion (Thailand not included) - 1948 The first time the pension was increased, but this increase was not paid abroad. - 1948 to 1981 Reciprocal agreements with countries. (There is not one with Thailand) - 1955 Payments were made available worldwide, but without uprating, without a reciprocal agreement. - Since 1925 The pension has not been uprated if you live in Thailand, and only paid from 1955.
  12. June 9, at 03:00 rescue staff of Sawangporn Kuson Rayong Rescue Foundation received a report of a motorcycle crashing at speed, into the back of a pickup truck. The incident occurred on Soi Koh Phruat Road, behind Big C, Nam Khok Subdistrict, Rayong Province. At the scene, a foreign man of unknown nationality, 30 - 40 years old, was found lying unconscious on the road and seriously injured, with a head wound and broken legs. The casualties helmet had fallen off during the crash. The riders telephone was still on and open on GPS navigation app. Responders suspect he was using the telephone to navigate and did not see the parked pick up truck.   14. 19.00 on June 8, 2024, Sai Noi Police Station received a report that the roof of a wheeled parking structure had collapsed and killed a monk, at Sai Yai Temple, Sai Noi District, Nonthaburi Province. A number of monks were reported to have be pushing the heavy roof across the parking lot. The wheels were said to be very stiff on the 20 year old roof shelter.and as it was being pushed across a change in level of the concrete car park, the rusted steel wielded joints at the top of the structure broke and hit the 52 year old monk, full force, striking his head and killing him almost instantly.
  15. Thai media reported. “Pol. Maj. Gen. Anuwat Khon Kaen Provincial Police Chief said the suspect was in a state of stress and confused when being questioned. The accused told police he went to visit his father. who has been receiving treatment at Khon Kaen Hospital since June 4, 2024, and was the same room as the deceased, who was waiting to undergo surgery. The accused's father's bed was next to the deceased's bed , and the suspect claimed that the deceased had talked and harassed his father, so he used his firearm to shoot him. The deceased and the accused did not knew each other before the shooting. Police said there will be further questioning to ensure the story is correct. Additionally police asked the suspect about his medical history and found out that he was suffering from depression. but lacked any medication.”

Thai media reported. “The gunman is Police Sergeant Tek or Weeraphong (surname withheld), 35 years old, a police officer at Phra Yuen Police Station, Khon Kaen Province He has surrendered himself to the Provincial Police Commander of Khon Kaen Province. Police Sergeant Tek's father was the one who led him to surrender in the early morning hours. Police investigators took the clothes he had worn on the day of the incident, a 9 mm firearm, a shoulder bag and a black 4-door pickup truck, Ford brand, parked inside a house in the area. Currently, he is in the process of being detained for further investigation at the Khon Kaen Provincial Investigation Division in order to understand the reasons for the murder of the Myanmar worker. The Police commander told reporters, that Police Sergeant Tek moved from Weluwan Police Station to Phra Yuen Police Station. He is a good worker, but has some health problems. He is sick with coronary artery disease and has to continually see a doctor and receive medicine to treat the illness.”

  22. If you read any crash investigation report, it will state the pilots experience, including flight hours on the type of aircraft involved in crash, plus in what role, captain, 1st officer, and history of experience on other aircraft.
  23. Most of the older aircraft parked there are not part of the Thai Airways current active fleet, and are either up for sale or have been sold. Last few months Thai airways reported they have sold all their Boeing 747s and Airbus A380. In 2022 it sold 5 Airbus A340s, which had taken 13 years to sell.
